I know there is a million and one threads on this but i just have a quick question. I have a harness from crutchfield that lugs into Fords harness and splices into the radio. My problem is i have heard people talk about rca wires to get the full sound? where do they go? sorry if these are newb question just never had to deal with the mach 460.

You feed the speaker level outputs to the tweeters and the RCA's run to the "subs" amp input. Your adapter harness should be color matched to the aftermarket decks wires and one of the plugs will have 4 RCA connectors on it to hook to the deck too. If you don't have the adapter harness with the RCA plugs then you have the wrong one.
Realistically the system would sound better if you bypass the factory amp and run all the speakers off the new decks internal amp.

the sound with the harness SUCKS!
just run new wires for all the speakers. it's not that hard and it sounds a lot better
