    Mounting oil pickup with ARP main bolts?

    Well, I have a set of ARM main BOLTS for the motor I'm putting together. I just realized I'm going to need something to mount the oil pickup to the main cap with. Do I call up summit and ask for 1 ARP stud..or what should I do? Thanks.

    That sounds pretty steep. At the one I work at we'd probably charge $70-$100 for both. All you have to do is wet sand them with 600 and tape the mirror off. That price is with dupont paint too, so not junk.

    Yea, I understand what ya mean, but I'm not into spending $150-200 just for peace of mind. Lol. Either it needs it or not...which I wouldn't know until it was done. I'm just looking for people who have done a stock rebuild like this to see what they've done.

    Thanks, so I'll probably only need 3 v bands? I plan on dumping exhaust right from DP depending on how loud it is so I probably won't have to worry about that other one.

    I have that same toolbox I believe. I can't tell, but does yours have the diamond plate faced drawers? If so, I have the same one, it's probably close to 6ft tall, it's pretty nice. Full of snap on/craftsman/matco tools.....:D
