Good pics, it doesnt look BADD, just not right. You could do it and 97% of the people on the road wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

No...thats just based on opinion though. People say you dont really NEED to because you can still put the front end on without putting the rest of it on...no one is gonna come give you a ticket because you have a GT front end and LX sides and rear. It just doesnt look right. Try looking up...

You dont NEED the whole kit, it just depends if you want it to look complete. The bumper support and everything else is the same. You will need GT fender extensions, make sure you get the ones off the correct year, I believe it was 90-87 were different than 91-93, different sizes depending one...

    Help ID this vacuum line

Yea what he said, under the upper intake there are a bunch of hard lines coming out, it goes on one of those. Which ever one it fits snuggly on and seems to be in the right place when you put the intake on.

Went to the track, with some results

Yea I was actually gonna run with no hood at first because it was off and I was lazy but I thought it takes 5 minutes to put on mine as well not risk it. When I pulled up to the booth i saw the guy shaking his head and thought he was gonna say something, but nope, didn't even say anything. I...

Yea the tires will do it man, I was hitting 13 flat @ 101mph with like a 1.8 60', you definitely have more in her, unless you're makin a lot of power to push you down the line I feel like its pointless to even go to the track in our cars without good tires. You're gonna spin all the way off the...

Went to the track, with some results

I was launching around 4500-5000, once the second yellow light came on i held the throttle like 3/4 or a little more, then on green i just floored it and rode the clutch off pretty hard. You gotta mess around with it and see how the car responds, I am sure different suspension setups, etc will...

Yep, not sure if you heard but they closed down over the xmas break. They just opened back up again a couple weeks ago under new management. Supposedly they're bringing it back to life, talk about re-paving the track, tons of events every week, etc.

belt routing questions, getting rid of some stuff

And this is caused by the tensioner? It didnt use to squeal with my old tensioner and same water pump. It'll only do it when its cold, once its hot it doesnt squeal.

belt routing questions, getting rid of some stuff

I actually think I might put my stock tensioner back on, my March setup looks pretty sweet, but it squeals horribly everytime I start it up, I've tried different size belts, and different tensions and cannot get the thing to shut up.

Thanks man, I guess 1.75 is good for the power and suspension setup I have, my car is not really setup for drag racing. The car doesnt make enough power to pull through a dead hook, if I dropped the clutch the car would dead hook lift up, then flop back down killing my 60', I was pulling 1.85's...

Went to the track, with some results

Hey guys, so I got out of the lower rider scene for a day, raised the car up, threw the slicks on, and went to the track. I was pretty happy with my results, first time hitting 12's, I knew the car had it in it, I took my timing gun with me and kept adjusting it until I got it right. I think...

belt routing questions, getting rid of some stuff

I was going to say use a reverse older style water pump (or reverse from our cars idk which way it spins). They work fine you just need to take the backing plate off a 5.0 HO water pump and swap it over to the older style pump.

Does Anyone Make A Bolt On And Go Coilover Kit?

That kit just uses adjustable spring perches in the stock location. UPR sells that too, but they're not coilovers. That setup should probably work fine for your though, I dont have any expereience with those adjustable perches so I dont know how low or high you can go. I believe UPR sells one...
