    TCP Coil Over Installed

    Installed the coil over kit in my 65. Did a one eyed alignment and drove it home (about 5 miles). Car drives awesome. No more automatic lane changes when hitting bumps!! I don't have a charging system yet , so I can't go to far, but I think I'll be very satisfied.

    OK, Are you sure the plug wires are on right?? Maybe you actually repaired the original problem that caused the breakdown but mixed up the wires?? Did you remove the distributor for repair?? If so , could you have installed it with the rotor pointing to a different wire terminal than the one...

    Another thing I've seen is spark plugs ruined by flooding. I dried them out and cleaned them but they would not fire. No explanation , but I saw it!!

    If you find that there is spark, check that the fuel is good. I've seen squirts into the carb that were more water than gas. Another thing I've seen is motor oil contaminated with gas keeping a motor from starting. I replaced a timing chain and couldn't get it started. Had spark and fuel...

    Pull a plug wire off of a spark plug. Put a known good spark plug into the wire and place the end of the plug near something metal. Have someone crank the engine while you watch the spark plug. You should see a rythmic spark as long as the motor is being cranked. You can do it yourself by...

    Do you know what your missing?? I assume spark by the parts you've replaced but you do mention fuel pump.

    70 Vert, will that crossmember work with your rack kit?? The randalls kit replaces the crossmember with the rack bracket.

    I started this project yesterday and the kit is awesome. I , too went with the high end kit and everything is going well. Mustang Steve is excellent to do buisness with. I'm also going with the Versailles rear. Ask Mustang Steve which master cylinder is on his own car. That 1 sounds the best.
