TCP Coil Over Installed

Installed the coil over kit in my 65. Did a one eyed alignment and drove it home (about 5 miles). Car drives awesome. No more automatic lane changes when hitting bumps!! I don't have a charging system yet , so I can't go to far, but I think I'll be very satisfied.

No pics. 70Vert had a thread with install pics of his Unique kit. Same deal , just different color. My kit came with the reinforcement ring thingy.

There is a ton of adjustability in the control arms - enough for the local alignment guy to really screw things up. Try to find someone trained/experienced in setting up TCP coilovers. My first alignment was way off as far as how the upper control arm was adjusted.

What can the alignment people screw up?? I would have guessed adjusting the control arms was basically the same as adding or deleting shims to adjust arm position. Thanks

The problem with the TCP stuff is it is so adjustable and it will let some people be lazy. What you want is to make sure that they balance out (I.E. equal lengths) the adjustment on both sides and not try to do it all with the adjustment on one side. It will look right on the machine but not be what you really want
