    Made a little walk-around video

Sweet looking Fox! The engine bay looks very clean and well laid out. If it is dirty, I can't tell from the video. Hope you get her out on the road soon!

    Anderson Valve Covers

I didn't realize that they are alum and could be polished. I did some work similar to your intake for the intake on my GTI years ago and it came out great. The only challenge was it needed to be cleaned and polished often. I am not sure how much access I will have under the GT40 intake but...

    Anderson Valve Covers

Thanks for the feedback. The LX I recently acquired is about 99% done in my book so I was thinking of maybe going to these valve covers to replaced the stock ones that were painted but are bubbling/peeling a bit. Not a necessity item but something I may put on the "wish list". KHibbs

    Anderson Valve Covers

I am thinking of upgrading from the stock valve covers on my 306 and really like the look of these Anderson covers. 1. Valve Covers They don't look like the come with hardware but I figured I would post up and see if anyone had had experience with them. Thanks, KHibbs

What did you do for your Fox today?

Nothing too exciting but I did an inner tie rod. A little research on Stangnet, borrowed the tool from Autozone, and the job was a snap. I was actually surprised at how easy it was. :nice:

Photo of your first Fox Mustang

It only took 19 years for the the two us to come together. The car I always wanted in high school except now it includes a blower. I think she is going to be around for a long time...:D

My 88 GT budget build...Project Garbage Pile

Looks great and nice work in the engine assembly. Did you do anything else to the motor or just strip it down to the block/rotating assembly and then put everything back together? Very cool build and thanks for sharing... can't wait to see her run. :nice: KHibbs

After along time away, It's time 4 another Fox!

I just finished a 4+ month search for a really clean fox. Most of what I found up here in New England was hacked up or had taken a real beating from 20 years in this environment. In the end, I went South and found a really nice car. I think I got pretty lucky as finding the right buyer is...

Just picked up a clean 90 GT

Congrats Congrats on the new purchase. Sounds like a nice find but I'd really need to see it before I could make any recommendations for first mods...

Post your favorite pic of your car.

Flavadave4 - Nice shots !! Both of them.....:nice: The nice weather is just rolling in here in MA so I hope to get some good shots this spring/summer but here is my best to date. I just pulled it out of the garage on a half decent 40 degree day in March to go for a spin. I'd only had...

    Droooooooooooooone @ 2000rpm + muffler ???'s

I have the Bassani exhaust in my lx with cats and it has a serious drone around 2K which is tough with 3.73s b/c it means that is right at 40 mph in 4th and between 65-75 in 5th.....:notnice: I just got the car and need to figure out what my options are because an hour or two on the highway...

Hanging Idle with Vortec ... I think I'm close

EXCELLENT...thank you. I read that a week or so ago (so I know I didn't have to be at .98 or .99 for the TPS) but I must have forgotten the part about testing the TPS was in there. I will test the TPS this weekend and hopefully cross that off the list as a possible culprit. I am...

Hanging Idle with Vortec ... I think I'm close

I haven't gone through all of the notes in the link that jrichker posted so I may be jumping ahead and this info is in there but... The TPS is set at .916 volts and the idle is steady at about 950 so I assume that it is working properly. Is there a way that you can test the TPS or the IAC...

Hanging Idle with Vortec ... I think I'm close

I'm confused about the answer of the ecm being programmed to do this from that factory as I remember stock 5.0s from the past that didn't do this. I've also read that there can be an issue with a pressure release valve from the Vortech... that is why I posted the Vortech in the post title...
