Right on, more info on your mods at the time? I'd love to hit 11s, but it's so not happening... probably not even 13s, lol.

    Finalized GT40P headswap, initial thoughts

Yeah man, it really seems like it. My bro came out and said it sounded different, too. lol, now I'm kinda thinking... damn, shoulda waited and got some AFRs. Oh well, gotta build the car with what money I have :nice: Oh and if anyone is wondering, MAC shorties will work but the #4 plug won't fit...

Yeah... are the edges alright? I took a look at mine, and it seems like if the edges are bent, it could be a real bitch.

    Finalized GT40P headswap, initial thoughts

Yup, got everything done today and after about an hour of timing, putting fluids back in and making sure there were no leaks, took her for a spin and let me say WOW. :nice: I can't believe what a difference it makes to have a nice(er) set of heads on these cars. I'm just stoked, so I had to tell...

    body help

You can fix it... got any detailed pics of the actual damage? For spots like that where you can't get to the back, use a stud welder and slide hammer. They work wonders :nice: Just make sure to some research on the basics like where on the dent to set the studs up, etc.

Isn't that what they had in Reno 911: Miami or whatever it was called?

Cobra lower intake question - coolant leak

Well since you have to pull it off either way, just do that and check the extent of the damage. It is possible to weld and such on the aluminum, so if it's only like a hairline fracture, I figure a shop would be able to weld it up or whatever... and if it's on a gasket mating surface, machine it...

Difference between 1.6 and 1.7 rockers

Same... removed the oil baffle and my 1.7s don't hit at all with stock covers. They're Proforms. It's also using a fairly thick cork gasket though... my old metal/rubber ones actually sit quite a bit lower.

Anyone Know what this is?? Pic inside.

Do not drop, lol. Sorry don't know what it is, but it made me chuckle.

About tired of changing the thermostat gasket.

Is it the stock thermo housing? Like I've said before, I had a Spectre one that must have warped after getting hot a few times... it would leak no matter what I did. Got a new housing and all my problems were gone.

    are these mounts ok?

I run Moroso solids and it is quite shakey. It's not too bad, but definitely noticeable. The most annoying this is the vibrations going through my arms, I hate that feeling.

    Rust....

^^ Like he said, you gotta get down to clean bare metal. I've had really good luck using a self-etching primer on the bare metal, regular primer over that and then topcoat with some duplicolor. Just for fixing small areas though... now the car needs a whole new paint job.

    FRPP "C" Springs

That's without cylinder heads, smog, PS, AC and all intake stuff. Fully loaded it brings the nose a little bit down. The pic is bad, though you can't really tell but whatever, lol. Before the spring install, the car looked like it was permanently launching. Very lame. 1 1/2" may be a bit high of...

    HELP FIND THIS CAR

Was the time in your sig in that car? Looks good, hope ya find it :nice:

    FRPP "C" Springs

I run the C springs. I like the amount it dropped the front, maybe an inch and a half, but the rear is really kinda jacked up. I reused the isolators and whatnot, but yeah... the rear end is kinda high. Ride is good, though! I went from stock crap w/ 125k to the C springs and new Monroe shocks...

    Question about leaking thermostat housing

It could be warped. I had a chrome one... I think from Spectre (blech) and its mating surface was uneven. It wouldn't stop leaking period. Now I have some parts store one that looks like **** cause it's rusted, lol. At least it hold coolant, though :)
