    I degreed my stock cams on a teksid 2v engine a couple years ago. Just put them straight up. (stock they are way off!) It idled like silk and the powerband was much smoother. It picked up a tad amount of tq, but not much. All in all, not worth it unless you are ocd.

    350 at the crank! If you want a true 350whp your gonna need better/bigger parts. 350rwhp can be done easily on a stock shortblock. You just have to have the nuts to rev it past 6500.

    b head engines make no tq under 4k, unless you use the imrc plates. Get a mk8 shortblock and put c heads on it with a 03-04 mach 1 intake manifold.

    Its a solid 20hp. That just shows how bad the stock unit is. The only way your gonna lose power/tq is with a heavily ported single plane with a 90mm elbow and tb, and even then you will still make more peak hp.

    Doubtful. It would have smash the timing cover in well before it did that. Pull all the valves out, check guide play. Ive had this happen a couple times on these things.

    Your first mod should be a full Pi swap, then gears. You can get a pi topend out of a junkyard for $200 easily. Then $20 for plugs, $30 for oil, $85 for headgaskets.

    Just rebuild the 3650. I personally think t56's are a waste of time. Plus all the odd parts you have to acquire to make it happen. It depends on what you want to do with the car. Race it? daily, etc..
