Pedal change from AOD to stick

you need one from a t-5, but... the only difference is, if you look at the old crossmember, the tubes at the ends that the bushings and bolts go through, there are some tack welds holding those tubes in place. if you grind those off and slide them back or forward and re tacked...

Pedal change from AOD to stick

yes if you've disconected the wires going to the column to allow it to hang or drop down with out pulling on the wires you'll be fine. the steering column isn't the bitch. it's this crap little plastic box mounted to a thin metal bracket that will give you fits....it's to the...

    couple more T-5 swap ?'s

the t-5 drive shaft yoke is the same as an aod so your good there. you do need a new seperator/block plate for a t-5, their different, the aod is basically a 2 piece ( the plate and the inspection cover) the t-5 is all one piece with some other differences as well...

    vss sensor o-ring

well the o-ring in the top of the pic was as close is i could find in my little o-ring assortment kit so we shall see. looks to be about the same size as the original(bottom) the bottom looks slightly bigger but as you can see it broke on one side removing it. if the new one...

    couple more T-5 swap ?'s

yes you can re-use the old bell housing to block bolts, however, the top 2 bolts you'll need about 3/8's to a half inch worth of spacers under the bolt head. the t-5 bell housing is thinner than the aod where the top 2 bolts are and the t-5 bell bolts are shorter, but you can use the aod ones...

    vss sensor o-ring

no i didnt try the dealer. i looked through a couple catalogs and saw nothing so wondered if anyone knew. i suppose silicone would work but i'd have to put it at the base of the sensor where it seats to the tranny. i think if i tried putting silicone on the or o ring itself...

squeaking from bellhousing?? (breaking clutch cables)

well i can't say for sure but.......you may be over extending it by using that hook on the quad.......is it a 3 hook quad?? see, i see your thinking about the stock hook and how it looks, but there's a different "throw" to an after market quad......and the stocker is different...

    vss sensor o-ring

when i did the t-5 swap and put the vss into the t-5 i noticed it seemed like it slipped in a little too easy. it's seeping a little, there's an o-ring on there which i'm sure is the problem. is there someplace to get a new o-ring specifically for that or is it a particular size...

How much does a 5.0 weigh?

most any engine stand will work.......however... some of the lighter/cheaper stands have the two points or casters in the rear and one on the front, while some of the better ones have two points/legs/casters in the front. those are a little nicer to have because theres less...

squeaking from bellhousing?? (breaking clutch cables)

i wonder if your routing it right. are you sure it's not getting binded up in the steering linkage right there by the header and that steering joint?? thats the only reason i could think it would be pulling the cable sheath away from the bell housing itself, unless you have it way way way...
