    Also, the 99-00 V6 had problems with oil coming through the PCV system. I had oil on my plugs, most of it was on the back 2, more on the passenger side closest to the firewall than any others. Installing a seperator or an inline filter helps with this alot...

    Yes, it is quite similar, just the tube to be tapped on the 99-04's is the tube that goes from the driver's side valve cover to the intake manifold.

    The main benifit is that oil vapors don't make it into the cylinder which lowers the octane rating and increases the risk of pinging. An oil seperator or a filter of some sort (inline fuel filters usually) can seperate the oil out and let your car run better.
