    door panel trim suggestions for re wraping

    i took mine off in black carpet. looked really nice.....another nice touch is to wrap the bottom of the door panel......the carpet area and the speaker grill...in the same color carpet. anyways...all's i did when re-wrapping was use some good spray addhesive...3m works great....and ha household...

    Anyone bought pistons recently?

    racer walsh has forged pistons for turbo 2.3's at 8-1. in the catalogue and on the site. do you need new pistons or just want to get new ones?? just wondering cuz the stock turbo pistons...i've been told...can handle way over 300hp.

    4 cyl dual exaust

    this is what i've decided to do with my exhaust...not true duals nor single. 3" down pipe to a 3" pipe to a camaro flowmaster 40 series (3"in dual 3" out). then dual 3" tails off the muffler. now if i don't go with 3" tailpipes...then i'm going to go with 2.5".

    not sure if the turbo is locked up...seems to me that if you can get to to at least run with your foot on the pedel...then it shouldn't be locked up. your tranny will bolt up to it...shouldn't have any problems,the rear end i beleive is a 7.5" limited slip with 3.45 gearing and will bolt in to...

    i agree with everyone...2.3l mustangs will last forever if taken care of. i have a 87 2.3l lx with a little over 41,000 org. miles....and it's been the best car i've drove!

    the turbo is a stock t3. i'm picking up my motor tonight...so whenever i get it torn apart...then i think i will figure out everything from there. i'm still learning so anything ya'll have to say...good or bad...will be a help..thanks again.

    one more thing...i do want to get some head work done ...i have a guy in town that says he'd do it for $350. but he also says theres no point to porting heads on a daily driven car. he said that you wouldn't notice a difference?? is that true.....i'll see some track use but mostly a daily driven...

    the block dosen't require .040 overbore...thats what i just plan to do. and yes i can find .040 pistons....even .060 pistons. what about this...stock crank,either 5.5" rods or stock....if you say they can handle over 300...cuz thats what i want to be at..right arouhd 300 hp. and the get .030...

    nahh...no swaping...i actually have a good running 302 i could put in...but nahhhh. i'll stay with the 400m. need somthing new to work on. anyways...i might be going towards the carb,intake,headers,and possibly a cam. thanks for ya'lls help.

    i am going to be re-building my 2.3l tc motor and this is what i was thinking about doing. stock block...acid diped,new freeze plugs,bored .040 over. weisco forged turbo pistons with 8:1 cr. 2.3l crower sportsman rods 5.5" and i think i'm going to use the stock crank...maybe get it balanced...

    awhile back i found a site that had all years of turbo ecu's and everything else about them. but now i cannot find it. does anyone know what site i'm talking about. i'm buying either a 86 or 87 tc 2.3l and i'm not sure which computer it has from the factory. any help would be helpful. thanks
