    In addition to the above, the early blocks have a 2-piece rear main seal and will have a bolt hole to be able to bolt in the mechanical clutch linkage, late model blocks will be a 1-piece rear main seal, and will not have that hole and you will have to use an adapter. BTW- I LOVE MY 347!

    this has been something I been wondering about too, as it would allow me to use my stock clutch fork. From what I can tell, as long as you can make a bracket, it should work. But I haven't had the time to really mess with it and attempt it.

    If you don't want a lap belt and dont want to do a 3 point belt what are your plans for the belts? you don't have to mount them to the roof. I have Scat ProCar Seats, and love them. I just recovered the rear to match too.

    this is interesting because when I tried putting a set of 275/50/15 MT Drag radials on 8" wheels, the tires were hitting the leaf spring and sticking out passed the fendors. Are your tires inside or even flush with the wheel wells?

    I have a DSS 347 shortblock, AFR 185s, comp xe274hr cam, and a mighty demon 650 carb. So far very happy, I will be happier whenever I get finished getting the carb tuned right too! I have similar compression and I run premium pump gas. (heck I have even drove it on 87 a few times)
