Well that's just great, one more website reminding me I haven't started my own turbo project yet. Looks great Stinger!

    stang help!

I second the siezed e-brake cable, I've had one stick on my '66. As for the steering play, check the rag joint in the steering shaft. Common problem and a cheap fix. Made a world of difference in mine.

    100K

Odometers lie. Our stangs are only as old as we treat them, unless the prior owner was a moron.

    Sloppy Steering - Need Advice

I can't comment on the aftermarket steering shafts. But, for $8 and a few minutes time, a new rag joint is an easy fix and will make a world of difference. You can always upgrade the shaft, but a new rag joint will keep you safe in the mean time. Plus, if you fix it and still have your play...

    Milage

I've got the auto in mine (collecting parts for a 5 spd swap) and get about 21 city and 30 hwy, driving easy.

    Oh, the little things....

Nothing like a little piece of mind. It's nice to just turn the key and know that everything works,,,, for now.

    Oh, the little things....

It's amazing how much of a difference the littlest repairs can make. In the last couple of weeks I have fixed the gangsta lean in the drivers seat (free), put new bushings on the door strikers ($3), repaired the bushings in my right rear quarter window ($8), and tightened up some rattling stuff...

    Loose steering question

These are some great suggestions. Start with checking the easy stuff like the rag joint and work your way down the list.

    steering wheel play???

I second the rag joint. One of the few truely "cheap" fixes.

    No Turn Signals

I had the same problem on my '89 about a month ago. Three bucks and a new flasher took care of it.

    2.3 engine life??

Mine only has 120,000 but it still idles smoother than anything I've owned before.

    General Turbo Coupe Swap List

As I'm waiting to find a turbo coupe donor (and have the cash at the same time, that's the tricky part) I wanted to compile a list of things to grab off the donor. The 2.3T and 5spd are givens, but what other things should a guy grab to "upgrade" his 2.3 stang. What about things like...

    Tire Size

205/70R14 work well, I just bought a cheap set last summer.

    Will this work?

Do a search for Smack's Booster, similar device but the plans are free. Also look at the water powered car groups on yahoo. I don't know how feasable it all is, but interesting no less.

    Steering wheel Jiggle

Might check the rag joint. Mine crumbled with age and created all kinds of play. Easy $10 fix if that's it.

    No right hand turn signal?

No problem, I still appreciate every reply. This thing has got a lot more to trouble shoot than my old '66. I love this site though, it's bailed me out numerous times :SNSign:
