    Cooling Question

What type of waterpump do you have. I had a milidon that would drive my temps up pretty quick when stopped. This was before my efan and I had UD pullies too... Kevin

I need Advice for new hood ’89 fox.

Almost any Carbon fiber hood you find under 1k is just a fiberglass with a CF overlay. Another thing to worry about is that the CF will turn yellow over time if it sits in the sun. Kevin

    350whp mods list? carb.

Realisticly people are happy to see 300 at the wheels with heads cam and intake on a stock shortblock. 320 at the wheels is exceptional for a 302 and only a handful of people with have been able to pull it off and they have a pretty tuned setup. I think you will have to juice it or go with a...

    Cooling Question

If you are staying cool at freeway speeds your radiator is doing its job. If you are stopped and you are overheating, your fan isn't pulling enough air. This is common with underdrive pullies. Not only is your waterpump not pushing much water at idle your fan is rotating less too. I would...

Time for new Struts / shocks.. Which ones.....

For a street car the Koni's are just fine. If you were to do an upgrade I would suggest Bilsteins. Tokico's are a great shock but probably not much of an upgrade. Koni's won't wear out like your typical gas charged shocks if that is a consern of yours. Kevin

are stronger mounting brackets for rear coil over kits necessary?

I would get the beafier brackets too... The current mount is really there to support the dampening effect and not the whole weight of the car. kevin

    TKO

My car doesn't have a stroker but the TKO 600 is great. I have heard a bit of bashing but I havn't experienced any of the issues so I cannot relate. I have a feeling that a lot of people don't have their bellhousing indexed. Even my Aluminium bellhousing which isn't suppose to need indexing was...

Cobra IRS into an early Fox Mustang

http://forums.stangnet.com/728237-cobra-irs-fox-swap.html I don't remember the brake line size but it was metric for the soft hose bubble flare. I went with the H&R race springs. You can use the stock springs but you will have to cut them down unless you like that Donk look. I was able to...

Are aluminum wheels ok for street driving?

Also consider that skinnies in the front really kill your braking on a poor braking car to begin with. Most of your braking pressure 70-80 percent go to the front tires so keep that in mind considering that this is a street car. Kevin

Do I really need a bumpsteer kit?

Quote from Maximum Motorsports CC plate install instructions BUMPSTEER Bumpsteer is the term for the toe setting of a wheel changing as the suspension moves up and down over bumps, or with body roll while cornering. There is a widespread myth that the tie-rod should be kept parallel to...

How Important is draining the oil onlevel surface in fox body?

I don't think there is a huge difference for draining the oil You may get half a quart of old oil but there are a lot of cavities in the motor itself that will hold the oil anyways. The fact that the new oil will mix with the old and replenish the additives is piece of mind for me. Kevin

    Are shorties worth it?

Your best bet for a close to stock motor would to change out the H pipe and ditch the 4 cat system for an off road or high flow cat system. The stock headers should flow fairly well to almost 300 fwhp. Kevin

What mods needed to supports Trick Flow Top End Kit??? Help please!

I would highly suggest new lifters. That is the one thing that the kit didn't come with. You can get by without doing the fuel upgrades but you are running on the very edge. What I did do to get by was get a kirbin fuel pressure regulator and bump up the fuel pressure a couple lbs to hold me...

I havn't been able to drive my car with CO's on them yet... only got 1 side done but I don't seem to have any interference issues as far as I can tell... I have the MMR kit and was just curious what the differences could be. Almost all the non bilstein kits look identical. I am running 2k GT...

    Another Brake question

No need to modify the front spindles for clearance. The cobra calipers are actually smaller than the 99+ GT calipers. Kevin
