Who has the SVO Side Exhaust?

I will tell you what. I e-mailed spintech for the info on the SFCs, and theirs seem to be monsters. They are very stout looking parts. I may get them just because they are so beefy. Not to mention, I have no doubt that their design will allow the side exhaust to work with minimal issues...

Who has the SVO Side Exhaust?

I am looking into the spintech SFCs now. I am hoping I can keep mine due to the fact they are great, and welded on. Looks like a lot of dremel and grinding time to get them off without a lot of damage. I will let everyone know what I come up with when I finish everything. Any more pics...

Who has the SVO Side Exhaust?

Thanks. Ironically, I saved that pic from a thread way back. Unfortunatly it doesn't show what I need. I may just have to make something happen. I don't want to loose my sfcs. Dr Gas has some frame clearance tubes I may go with if I need too. I was hoping since I didn't have full length, I...

Who has the SVO Side Exhaust?

I just found a brand new kit and ordered it up. I have SFCs, but I also have a guy that car bend pipe like nobodys business. I don't have full length SFCs, so maybe I will get lucky. I doubt it though. \ Anyhow, the question here is, does anyone have some underbody pics so I can see where...

    Oil filter (GT vs. Cobra)

Cobra filter is the same thread. It is short due the factory oil cooler. I have no problems using the F1A or Frams 8A on my cobra. Just a little tricky to get in there.

    03 control arm install questions

I found using a tie rod end puller works great for taking tie rod ends and ball joints off. Worked like a charm all 4 times I've used it. You can rent one at Autozone. However, I have never had the issue with the top strut nut. I have the bilsteins, and they have a allen keyway to aid in...

    Trunk Horror *pics*

Been working and going to school. Don't really have time to get into postin. I keep reading though. That stuff really sucks. If you paint it, the paint won't stick too well. If you try to clean it, that paint that is on it starts to rub off. I hate that section of the car. Seems like...

    Trunk Horror *pics*

Its not Bondo. Its epoxy. Ford used it on all there mustangs like that. Yours just dried out really bad and failed. Sucks, its a lot of work to take care of. Hope it works out for you though. If you all look really hard, you will see that there is a layer of the yellowish junk around...

    MustangTuning.com's HID kit--thoughts?

From my knowledge, it takes a jolt to light them up, but once they are lit, the ballasts use less power to keep the bulbs burning. On out S2000, the lights don't really get that hot. I don't see why these would be an issue in a Stang light housing. My stock Cobra bulbs create way more heat...

    Through the floor subframe connectors

Deffinetly adds a lot more stiffness. I have seen them in a lot of track cars at various events. With the interior gutted the install is not too bad. It does require some cutting of the sub floor though. Also makes it hard to use aftermarket seat rails without spacers. I know griggs sells...

Rear Mounted Turbos - Mustang Reality

I don't have the time I used to have to surf SN anymore, but I came across this in my Mag today. Anyone seen these yet. www.jmsproductsinc.com/ Click on the performace tab on the left. Looks pretty cool, and they say its pretty easy to install. I'm not interested, but I though I...

    Who has a Torque Arm?

To me that is debateable. HP isn't really what dictates the limits of the torque arm setup. RWTQ is the real limiting factor. My friends 03 Mach 1 sits around 575rwhp, and has not a single issue with the exact setup I have. Not to argue, but he drives his car pretty hard and has no issues...

    Who has a Torque Arm?

I have both the MM Panhard and Torque Arm. I bought the Mac Stainless catback and had no problems using the tails. Mac was smart and mad the over the axle section in two separate parts. Great for this setup. I did have to wrap the passenger side exhaust with wrap from the muffler back. It...

    Wow, Just WOW!!!!!

I am usually not one to call out others misconceptions of what is cool on a car, but this one kinda took me by surprise. Mind you, some of this car is in good taste, and appears to be okay, but when you get to page 3, "I am a plumber" I just don't know what to say. Especially with that...

Lug Nuts for 95 cobra rims

If there is a discount tire near you, they stock gorrillas for about 50 bucks for the whole set. I usually replace them every other year. I had a set laying around, but I gave them to a fellow stanger. The gorillas are really skinny, and should fit great. They are splined.

Spring rates and spring lengths for t/a phb

seems a little heavy on both. I think run a 300 front 250 rear. I have the bilsteins too. You can call Maximum, and they will tell you exactly what they recommend you use. I ordered the rates they told me I needed, and I could not be happier. 18K on the car, and 3 different suspensions, and...

sorry to ask again (13" front disks).....

Not really, just need to make sure the pads don't get glazed over from the old paint. Once its worn to metal in the contact areas, check your pads really good. If you seen any problems, replace them. I usually use a old set or cheap set for a few miles to get the paint off mine, then put new...

    brembo 4 piston calipers

Exactly right. The stock 17X8 will not fit. I just got a set of these myself and am gonna have to sell off the stock Cobra Calipers. I tried a test fit on the factory 94 Cobra wheels today, and that was a no go.(Curious, this question has come up a lot) I have the FRPP 17X9 Cobra Rs actaully...

    Suspension Junk

They will grove them free if you buy there coil overs, but by the time you figure shipping both ways on shocks/struts that are pretty heavy in the first place, your not really saving much, and you've had to deal with a headache of waiting. Guess it really depends on how good of a deal you can...
