Rear Mounted Turbos - Mustang Reality

rear mounted turbos are gay. by the time you do all the work to mount it you might as well just did an underhood design. The only advantage to rear mount is if you couldn't possibly mount it underhood.
Or there's the part where it takes a LOT less work to mount it under the car for a pre-fabbed system, the ability to retain all of your accessories, and still make good amounts of boost at the same time. Ask GreenMustangGt if his rear mounted system that he made himself, and had great results with only turning his boost up to 5lbs is "gay."

JMS always seemed like a very shaddy/shiitty company to me, their website-design has consistently been some of the shiitiest I've ever been to.

But I have to say, I am really interested in (a) rear-mount turbo(s).:nice:

You can't make boost efficiently if the turbo is that far from the engine.

Yeah, I'm sure you can't produce as much power with a rear mount .... but it definitely can produce some nice gains. And, it gets extreme cool factor points. "Look under my hood .... you wanna race?" kinda stuff.
