Just curious what kinda of 60' times you guys are cutting in your fox cars.
When my car was hooking right I had them clear down to 1.47
What is your best 60 foot time?
That car sounds pretty healthy!!
I think I'm gonna put a borla side kit on my car. It's little banged up but it's free so why not give it a shot right :nice:
I put a power pipe on my car.
I had to cut a hole for the pipe to run into the inner fender where the fox bodies have a hole.
Works great if you don't mind adding an extra 4" hole to your car :D
The lower your gears the less your tires will spin. :nice:
I know that sounds odd but that's just the way it works :D
You'll be much happier and it will be much easier on other parts with the lower gears. :flag:
I run a professional products balancer on mine.
Cheap and SFI approved. Seems to work ok.
I've been using it for 3 or 4 years now without any problems.
part number 8007
I don't have any coils cut off mine either. The rear has the height adjustable arms so it sits where I want it. That makes it nice to get the height where I want it.
I've had the drag launch springs in it for a few years.
They are fine on the street and don't sit too bad. The heavy block helps that too I think.
I'm taking the drag springs out and replacing them with pro-kit.
This is a pic of it with the drag springs.
tons of car use them. You can check at a local wrecking yard for one.
also check and make sure you don't have a vacuum leak somewhere that's causeing your lack of vacuum. :nice:
gotta be better than the stock ones!! :D
It's got a drag launch kit in it now.
It would be nice to not have to buy a new set of springs.
I guess I could see these if I don't like them.
Thanks for the info. :nice:
