    Valve Bodies Question

Most people are going to recommend the j-mod for the valve body. I went this route, especially since the guy that came up with the j-mod is the same guy who designed the aod series of transmissions for ford. Anyway, when I manually shift my car with the j-mod, converter, and 4.10s it definately...

    Suspension/Coil-Over Noise???

I really need to get under there and try to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from. But its wierd that it comes and goes and that its only on the driver side. I guess another good way to describe the sound it makes is like a locker shutting (ie gym locker). But it doesn't happen when...

    Suspension/Coil-Over Noise???

Sorry about the double post, I thought what I had first typed was lost.:bang:

    Suspension/Coil-Over Noise???

Sometimes I hear this clanking noise coming from the front driver side wheel area. This has happened twice over the past month or so. I get home, pop the hood, and push down on the radiator support area and when I let go and the car rebounds upward there is a clank. It's kinda like two hollow...

Nitrous Guru's What do you think?

Well....... I guess this is what I've come up with. I'm very scared about running a wet kit and the risk of fuel pooling in our intake manifold. So, my initial thought was to experiment with a dry kit but I really have not found a system any safer (probably less safe) then the current wet...

    Suspension/Coil-Over Noise???

Coil Over Noise Question? Here's a kinda wierd question. Sometimes I hear this noise coming from the front driver side wheel area like two pieces of metal smacking together. So, when I get home I pop the hood and push down on the cowl area and sure enough, if I push down hard nothing happens...

Nitrous Guru's What do you think?

I just think that for occasional use and the fact that the compucar dry kit is pretty much hidden its a great set-up and its very reasonably priced. Also, I guess if I bought it and didn't like the "dryness" of it i could always convert it to a wet kit pretty easily. I think I should just verify...

Nitrous Guru's What do you think?

12.5:1 is actually pretty rich I think. The ideal air to fuel ratio is about 14:1, so if you were at 12.5:1 thats pretty safe I think?

Nitrous Guru's What do you think?

Does anyone have any experience with spraying past the MAF sensor?

Nitrous Guru's What do you think?

What about spraying just a small shot past the MAF sensor? Like 50 or 75 hp???

Nitrous Guru's What do you think?

I was just wondering if this is logical. If you set up a basic dry nitous kit on an 04' GT (ie returnless fuel system therfore no fuel pressure regulator) would this work? Bottle to one N2O solenoid, a WOT switch, with a tuner return to factory timing (very conservative) add a small basline...

    ONE MORE TQ CONVERTER THREAD

I believe Circle D is located in the houston area. They make a nice converter. The reason Precision Industries gets a bad name sometimes is because of the clutch material they use. Its a paper material and even the triple discs are prone to flaking especially if locking up under full throttle. I...

Drag Radials (Whats the best and where to buy?)

I have BFG KDW's in 285/40-17 for my street tires and before I got my converter I could really hook well with them even with the 4.10s. I was able to run 2.0 60 foot times consistently at the track and on the street with my suspension set-up the car would pretty much squat and go. I recently...

Drag Radials (Whats the best and where to buy?)

I am finally going to buy a set of drag radials to mount on an extra pair of wheels I bought. With the new converter I get ZERO traction and I know I will definately need drag radials come spring (especially with the spray:D ) Anyhow, the 3 brands that I am considering are nitto, BFG, and M/T...

Show me some pics of how you mounted your bottles!!!

Now that is what I'm talkin' about!!! Freakin' cool!!! That's a really good idea to place the bottle behind the rear seat in a vert. I new someone would have some good ideas. Also, where did you get that rear seat delete? Also very cool:nice: KEEP THE PHOTOS COMING:) YOU GUYS ARE GREAT:)

Show me some pics of how you mounted your bottles!!!

I am interested in seeing some pics of how everyone has mounted their nitrous bottles. I am looking into possibly doing a hidden set-up? I also am fabbing up a rear seat delete and may incorporate mounting the bottle to it somehow. I'm sure someone has come up with some cool ideas:nice:

    new best n/a

Great times man!!! I am curious as to what your "race weight" is with driver and what mods you have done to the car? What is the secret to a good suspension set-up?

    So i raced my buddies 400hp ls1....

I love videos like that:nice: I know alot of people will complain, but thats real world racing. I notice that alot that some of these guys with trans-ams and even vettes can't drive for crap, plus I like cheering for the underdog. Anyways, great kill! You da man:D

Which Zex kit Wet or Dry?

I'm interested in a little shot off the bottle. Probably only 75hp and I think I will get it dyno tuned and a specific program for running N2o just to be safe. Anyway, I am leaning towards the dry kit since it is easier to install, cheaper, and no chance of gas/nitrous pooling in the intake and...
