    Longtube Headers: Need some help.

Well, a guy wants to buy my shorty jet hot headers and off road h pipe so I figure this would be a good time to step it up to long tubes. I am probably going to get BBK's. Are these a PITA to put in? I installed the shorty headers and that was fine. Do I have to remove the steering shaft and...

    Maximum Motorsports Control Arm Install

If you are going fast in a straight line those should work. But, you do not want Poly bushings in the upper arms. IMO, unless you are doing some serious insane drag racing where you are putting a ton of power to the ground, I would not even touch the uppers. Not only are they a PITA to do...

94-95 spindles vs. 96-98 spindles for front 5 lug conversion

Why is everyone making such a huge deal about this? I am curious. To all the people that say he better have the right wheels or OMG it will look retarded, have you ever seen or done a car with the 96-98 spindles? I have them with 245/45/17 and they look fine. As a matter of fact, they look...

Actually, my panhard bar did not save me with the poly bushings in the LCA's. It made the car feel more controlled, but there is that point..... Your tires will grip grip grip grip and then bang, they will break loose and you are done. I did a complete 360 and then some. On the track, no...

Those are not a good idea. Polyurethane at both ends will induce bind in the rear. This will cause snap oversteer when cornering and the rear end will come out on you. I had this happen at the race track. Sure you will notice more traction, but poly is worse than rubber even though it grips...

    5lug REAR disc conversion

I use 96-98 spindles that stick out further than 94-95, by a whopping 8mm, and SN95 axles. I just upgraded to the 11.65 brakes in rear as well. It looks fine to me.

Best Fox Suspension! Your opinion matters!

Forgive me, my digital camera sucks balls, but this is what I have. MM lower control arms (the best IMO), Griggs Panhard bar, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, boxed front control arms with poly bushings. My car handles like not a mustang, it that makes sense.

    Tokico or Bilstein?

If all you do is drive around, KYB’s are a great replacement for the money. Why blow money on Bilstein or Tokico? I will not lie, Bilstein makes the ride bumpy. You feel everything. Every bump, every crack, every pebble. KYB’s are nice and smooth, not Caddy smooth, but nice riding.

    violent motor shaking..please help

Balancer, or maybe, just maybe, I know it;s a long shot, a fuel injector came unplugged. A dead cylinder will cause the motor to shake.

    Tokico or Bilstein?

Bilstein’s are the way to go. I have them and aggressively auto-x my car and they are great dampers. I paid 490 from www.shox.com. Worth it IMO since replacing shocks and struts is a rare event. I had KYB’s and they sucked for racing, good for a stock replacement. Do it right or do it...

    Maximum Motorsports Control Arm Install

I did the PHB first because I got it for 125.00....It's a griggs severe duty adjustable PHB, and they are not made anymore. The guy that I bought it from didn't want it because his MM rear sway bar would not fit with that PHB so he sold it. Even though it was used, and I had to mock up a few...

    Maximum motorsports rear grip package...

A PHB is not hard to install. I didn't have directions on how to do mine. It's a Griggs Severe Duty Adjustable PHB, and it was welden in. Took a few hours having to mock up some steel to use as reinforcement. I just got done putting in MM Control arms and they took awhile, not hard just time...

    Maximum Motorsports Control Arm Install

I decided since it was 85 degrees outside today, I might as well put these in to see if they are worth the money. They went in fairly easy with the exception of a few things. MM says to jack car up and put the rear axle on jackstands, I used a lift and would recommend the same, especially if...

Which front brake? best for fox body? 5 lug conversion

The swap is easy. Takes a couple of hours to do. I had 99-04 fronts and 94-04 rears. I just upgraded to 03 Cobra Fronts, and 94-04 Cobra rears. Huge difference in braking. Here's a pic. First car in the line, the light blue one.
