    What type of fluid do you use or *should* you use in your T5?

    What come in it from the factory? I just pulled my tranny and it had a brownish oil in it, not a reddish ATF type oil. I found this on that Penzoil Synchromesh stuff ...and it says : soo...is GL-4 gear oil specified in the T5? Sound like most of you use ATF. :shrug:

    Hey RIO5.0, I can't quite tell from your avatar pic, but is that the Saleen S281 wing on oyur car? I was considering changing to some sort of "lip" type spoiler, and the one in your pic looks kinda like it.

    Let's say I order them nd when they arrive, they do not have the EGR hole. Can I still use them? Will my car run right if the EGR is not hooked up? We don't have emissions inpections anymore here in MN, so I'm not really worried about that.

    good to hear. I have a 94GT and will be getting BBK LTs soon. So you didn't need a mini-starter like others have said? what about removing the steering column? It doesnt say you have to do that to install them in the instructions I got online.

    I am currently trying to decide between the FRPP King Cobra (PN: FMS-M7560-C302) and the FMS HD clutch (PN: FMS-M7560-A302) What exactly is the difference between these two, other than $40? Will the King Cobra fit my car? (1994 GT w/stock T5)?

    Will do. So far, I have the tranny out, and the bellhousing just came off tonight. Here's a fun fact: Ford's factory assemblers were TOO FROCKING LAZY to install the top 2 of the 6 bellhousing-to-engine bolts!!! :mad: It also seems that they thought putting grease on the clutch release...

    where to get gt40 irons

    Just out of curiosity...how much better are say...GT-40x aluminum heads....or holley alluminums? I konw the AL heads will save on weight, but do they provide a lot more power too over the GT-40p's? Just wondering since it's almost $1000 difference.

    I am probbably going to buy some BBk full length headers real soon, but I was wondering if they have holes in them for the O2 sensors, and the EGR plumbing. I checked the BBK website, but they don't say much. Although, it DID say that the headers for 94-95 Mustangs were for off road use...

    Good point...I think I will maybe replace my rear main seal. There is usually a drop of oil under my car after I park it, and it liiks to be coming from the back of the oil pan. Are rear main seals very hard to install? What all does that involve....just taking off the oil pan? Too bad I...

    Ok...So I am in the process of replacing the throwout bearing in my 94 GT, and when I pulled the driveshaft out of the tranny, it spilled a little oil out of it. I put some saran wrap and a rubber band around the end to prevent more spillage, but I figure I should add some to top it off...
