I'm Sort Of Disgusted With Myself

Haha, I'm sure they will. But in the off chance they don't, I will definitely be interested!

I'm Sort Of Disgusted With Myself

Dang. Yeah I understand. I've just recently been able to actually start modding the car. But as soon as I buy one more thing for this car, that's it; I'm keeping it forever. So I'm in the go big or go home zone as well. I just feel like the look of the car is unparalleled and the potential is...

I'm Sort Of Disgusted With Myself

Last week I became so obsessed with the idea of having a 2011+ Mustang that I put mine on craigslist. I put it up for almost $8000 because I knew no one would give that much for it but was willing to entertain offers. The thought of a better refined vehicle that has fresh paint, fresh interior...

    Lowering My Stang

If you can afford it, Bilstein shocks/struts. I got mine new off of ebay for a better price than almost all other places. Seems like H&R springs are more consistent in their drop from what I've seen. I've seen a few posts where people think the Eibach springs drop differently per person...this...

    Lowering My Stang

Sounds like for your application some H&R lowering springs are all you need. Don't bother going to coil-over unless you plan on doing some serious money spending and racing. Depending on the springs, you'll probably need caster/camber plates to help with the alignment. Although some people claim...

    Subframe Connectors Are Awesome

I've got some sort of flowmasters mufflers that were on the car when I bought it. Plan on going to the SVE brake kit eventually.

    Subframe Connectors Are Awesome

What these guys said ^. No reason to get powdercoated ones. The guy that installed mine painted over them for no extra charge.

JamesB Chassis up in Sanger. Really good price, got them done in a day.

    Subframe Connectors Are Awesome

I know that almost everyone knows that full length weld-in subframe connectors are a must with our cars but I just got mine (Maximum Motorsports) installed today and they made the ride SO much better. I was worried about the description of them making the car feel "stiff" but they really make...

    Exhaust Tips installation

Got them on. 4" Jones Exhaust Rolled/Slanted tips and some other pics:)

    Exhaust Tips installation

Well yes I plan on it. But my concern is that when they cut off the tips that are on there, there won't be enough material for them to properly weld the new ones onto and have them actually stick out some since they're the same length as the ones currently on there.

    Exhaust Tips installation

So I just ordered some 4" exhaust tips that I plan to have installed (welded) when I get my FLSFCs installed. They're 12" long and I realized that after looking underneath my car the exhaust tips that are on there are 12" long and are welded on. Is the shop going to have a lot of trouble cutting...

Back from the body shop (hail damage repair - pic heavy)

I noticed that it does not have the pony emblem so I'm assuming aftermarket.

Is my suspension suppose to be this harsh?

I've got bilsteins on those springs with no front isos and it might be harsher than stock but its not enough to rattle my teeth or anything. I guess if I do feel every little bump I'm just not bothered by it or something.

official 4.6 liter Mustang photo thread

Yeah I don't know either. I was kind of rushing the pictures today. Next time I can do a shoot I'm gonna take the plates off.

    Exhaust Tips

In the next few weeks I plan to get some FLSFCs and figured I'd get some exhaust tips as well to make the rear end of my car look better and get them welded on while they're welding underneath there anyway. I've seen some pics and really like the look of rolled 4" tips. I was wondering if anyone...

Back from the body shop (hail damage repair - pic heavy)

Yeah I've got scratches in the rear driver side corner (as you can see in the pics) from the previous owner also. Kind of annoying but my paint is so faded it'd be pretty difficult to blend and match. I'd rather just wait until I possibly get a full re-paint of the car.

Back from the body shop (hail damage repair - pic heavy)

I went to Alex Paint and Body in Lewisville. They did a really good job for all the damage I had and they "paid my deductible" so that was nice. I was hoping they'd go a little further and fix a ding in my door that wasn't caused by the hail since they'd be up in the door anyway, but they...

Back from the body shop (hail damage repair - pic heavy)

Well it was all paintless dent repair so there shouldn't be any paint issues. And yes I wish I had a better exhaust setup. When I get some FLSFC in the next month or so I'm going to have to decide whether to get some exhaust tips or hold off and get a new exhaust system but I definitely need...
