    Its the long cylinder on the side of the throttle body, 2 bolts and a plug. I can't remember what i paid for the new part but I think it was around 40$.

    I had the same problem with my 88gt when I would start it the rpms would jump around about 4 or 5 times before it evened out, I replaced the idle control valve and it fixed the problem.

    Nice looking car. I would get a mechanic check and then if that checks out plus the milage is ok buy it. Auto or manual trans is personal preference.

    Yeah it does it in reverse, but it only does it untill I completely take my foot off of the clutch. Once the clutch is completely engaged the noise stops. It's the same forward and reverse.

    Wheel and tire size question

    I just put 17 9" with 255/40/17 on my 88gt and they fit fine except i had to take off the quad shocks on the back.

    trans. removal tips anyone?

    Dropping a T5 is the easy part the only frustrating part is takeing out the stock cats and H pipe. Also be easy on the starter bolts if you remove the bellhousing, if you cant get them off from under the car build an extension that stretches to the front of the engine and do it from up top.

    4 Hours?? I just finished today on installing rear disc brakes and a 5 lug conversion and it took me 2 and a half weeks.
