    dont know if there was a topic about this, didnt know what to search. Anyway, a chevy friend of mine says Ford stands for Found On Road Dead, and Fix Or Repair Daily, and the only one i can come up with is First On Race Day.....anyone know any others?

    oh yeah, they were the standard issue side arm for us army soldiers from 1911 to 1985, so im sure there are plenty out there(not sure what the gov does with them)...im not sure on the price though

    get a 1911 Colt. Its got plenty of stopping power. Its .45 cal, 7 bullets in the clip and 1 in the chamber. Get youself some hollowpoint ammunition and you will be set for self defense. Just make sure you take a handgun saftey/self defense class so u know how to use it, clean it, and all that...

    thanks for the info.....im gonna climb under it tomorrow after class. I replaced the clutch packs and basically rebuilt the stock t-lok. there was no signs of wear, it just happened when i hit that bump. to be honest, i hope its the gears. good reason to upgrade to a 4.30

    hey matt, my buddy has a lincoln ls v6....they are really nice, and handle incredibly well. but, even though its a v6, he has to run premium fuel in it....so that could get expensive, but it still gets good mpg. If your lookin for an suv, i know my blazer got about 23mpg on the interstate...
