    my stock tach was dead on up until about 4000+ rpm, after that it started to go way off, it read 6200 or so at about actual 5600. I noticed it when I got my dyno tune.

    use the screw drive wedge method, thats what i did when I had no help. I wedged it between the teeth and the ground, then held the bottom of the screwdriver against the ground with my foot and turned the rachet.

    it all depends on how fast you want it and how much your willing to spend. If you go turbo and stroked your looking at a lot of power and money for other stuff to keep it going straight safey. If your shooting for 400-450rwhp then a turbo on a 302 is all you need and is the route I would go...

    if it doesnt crank when you turn the key all the way foward to start position but it cranks when you jump the solenoid, then either your solenoid is bad or the wire goin from the ignition to the solenoid is bad/cut.     Whats your Gas Mileage for those with a lot of HP

    I just tested it out after a few tanks, I get 175 miles per tank. Thats roughly 13 MPG. I dont mind it too much because its so fun to drive but I was just curious as to how I compared with other people's stangs.
