    94 Gt Running Extremely Cold

I still think everything might be fine. It's cold out, so if you're moving at all, the fan will never come on; it might only come on after an extended drive and then a period of idling. Remember, the stat opens very slowly (most non-performance stats require around 15-20* to go from barely...

    94 Gt Running Extremely Cold

Do you have an alternate means of checking temperature? If nothing else, an infrared non-contact thermometer can be helpful. The stock gauge is not super useful so you might not have anything wrong...........

    Running LEAN-What common suspects?

Welcome to the boards! Best bet is to start a new thread in the appropriate sub-forum. Be sure to include info about the length of headers (it it's LT's, that's a biggie), how the car is tuned, and recent work done to the car before it started acting up.

    stock temp gauge not working?

I'm not usually a fan of old-thread bumpage, but a part number is a great reason to bump an old one. How many times have we searched threads and found no part numbers or solutions to what the actual original issue was. I applaud the bump - it added utility and knowledge to the original content...

87 mustang drivetrain problems? won't spin?

Please don't take take the sentiments the wrong way - his was a common response for this scenario. Old thread bumps happen occasionally (and often it's from a spammer). If you're new to posting on forums, it's quite understandable that an old thread might be bumped. No worries. Welcome to the...

Also check the reverse-switch wiring on the side of the trans. Which 4 fuses blew?

Volt Meter Bouncing - Chasing an electrical issue

Nice info from Matt and Richard. :nice: How low is your idle? If it's too low, you can see the behavior you describe. If you have doubts, [while safely in a parking lot or other area with no hazards] get it to act up while idling and goose the gas a little to bump the idle to 700-800 and see if...

Volt Meter Bouncing - Chasing an electrical issue

I'm confused. In the video it sounds like the PW button is being cycled (like a bored toddler would do). If that's the case, don't do that and the gauge/lights won't oscillate. If it was making clicking noises the entire time you were depressing the PW button, what was making the clicking...

Volt Meter Bouncing - Chasing an electrical issue

If you're continuously pressing and depressing the window button and the meter fluctuates at the same time, that's not uncommon. The meter normally dips when the button is depressed and it readjusts when you release the button (the PW is a relatively large load). Even a turn signal (the same...

Volt Meter Bouncing - Chasing an electrical issue

What's the clicking noise? Are your windows going up and down or is there an issue with the window movement?

Gt Warning-console Lights Flash Once After Starting

You've got the right console Mike (5L5). As noted initially, the console proves-out. It comes back on after the car has been idling for a few seconds. It stays on for about 5 seconds and extinguishes. Mikestang63, I don't think it's a loose wire or a ground issue because of the above (something...

Gt Warning-console Lights Flash Once After Starting

Mike: Yeah, as far as I know they all function properly. I have had the low-fuel light come on in the past and it seemed to function fine. Only the fuel light was on (it's not like all of the lights flashed to get the driver's attention or anything like that). I replaced the ignition switch...

Gt Warning-console Lights Flash Once After Starting

Hello folks, I could use some assistance. The vehicle: an '88 GT Vert. The 4 warning lights under the right side of the cluster prove-out (like normal). A few seconds after the car starts, all 4 lights illuminate simultaneously for a few seconds and then extinguish (and don't illuminate...

You might want to try posting a thread in the appropriate forum (you're in the '94-95 section). Good luck.

    Electric Fan Install

Relays can fail with heat, but a 75A Bosch should be fine. If you were running a 30/40 SPDT/SPST before, that might not have been able to handle the steady-state load, let alone a start-up after steady state.

    Electric Fan Install

If you're going with that line of thinking, see if coil of the existing relay is energized when you think the fan should be on. If not, determine if power or ground is missing. If the coil is energizing, see if the N.O. terminal has power at the same time.

    Suspension Delrin Lca Bushing Failure

Delrin. I'm not a big fan of poly (not much perceived difference over the higher-durometer rated stock bushings [Cobra] and it gets noisy).

    Suspension Delrin Lca Bushing Failure

Hello, I'm just looking for some feedback. Has anyone had a Delrin front LCA bushing crap out on them? I just had a failure at 45K miles. I've got them in another car (double wishbone, been installed for almost 20 years and golden). What kind of lifespan are you getting out of them? Thanks.

    Engine Hose Clamps?

Another T-bolt clamp vote. Most of them use nyloks. They also don't chew the hose up like screw/worm clamps do. My favorite are the factory clamps. If you have the tool to easily remove them, they're hard to beat, IMHO.

Electrical Aftermarket Key Less Entry Install Issue

If you have the provision for keyless (single-wire trigger for lock and a single-wire for unlock), grab them in the rocker panel (remove the long plastic door threshold trim that you step over to get into the car). One clue is to lock the doors and lift the driver's door handle from the...
