    Maybe I'm crazy but I don't think the reverse idea will make the other side of the engine lift up.. The engine always spins in the same direction. As for the squeak.. Can you get your hands around the valve covers and shake the engine? Does it squeak then? Riley

    Are you referring to the 3 bolt vs. 1 bolt tensioner? Or do the front covers themselves just not "fit" the engine? I have a 99 cover on my 2002 engine and I had to buy a 3 bolt tensioner, but other than that it bolted right up. The 3 bolt tensioner is MUCH stronger too. Riley

    Look at this deal on this plenum for a GT

    The "shark" has a flap inside the plenum that you can adjust to re-direct the airflow.. I would assume that's why they called it the "shark" since the flap looks like a shark fin.. Riley

    In the picture with the red circle, that's the crankshaft position sensor. If the computer doesn't get a signal from that sensor it won't fire. Double-triple check that sensor and wire.. Riley

    Get some new, stock ford gaskets. I also like to use the Stage 8 locking header bolts because then you KNOW they won't come loose. With the stock K member it's cheap insurance as it's such a pain in the ass to reach those bolts. Riley

    Battery Draw I cant find to save myself!!!

    Put an ammeter on the positive battery line and start pulling fuses one at a time.. When the draw drops quite a bit your issue is whatever is on the line you just pulled the fuse for.. Note that there will always be "some" draw for things like the PCM memory, car stereo memory, etc.. Riley

    If he gets continuity with the PCM unplugged then yes, he will need to trace wires since the wire is grounded without the PCM grounding it.. Now, if he doesn't get continuity then the wires are most likely fine and he can look towards the PCM. Riley

    Not sure which one is the hot wire. Check one of the COPs that has the single "red" wire (that will be the +12v wire) and note if it's on the right or left side of the connector. It will be the same on the #4 COP. Riley

    The PCM fires the COP by grounding the COP as you guys have discussed. You can tell if the issue lies with the PCM or the wiring by unplugging the connector to the PCM and checking if the ground wire connected to #4 coil is still shorted to ground. Put your multimeter to test continuity...
