i think i remember reading some where that the wiring harness can be disconnected at the fire wall? i looked all around my engine bay and on the passenger side near the fire wall there is a black box that has all the wires coming out of, is this where it can be unplugged to be able to be removed from the car? i think it would be alot eisier not to have all the wires hanging around when pulling the engine out.....

Yes, there is one big black box with a 10mm bolt on it. Loosen that bolt and the connector will come out.

There are also two other connectors there in that area and some other ones behind the motor by the transmission.

Unplug the:
COPS
Injectors
Fuel Pressure Sensor
EGR
IAC
TPS
A/C
Cam Position Sensor
Crankshaft Position Sensor
Oil Pressure Sensor
Passenger O2 Sensor
COP harness under the MAF
Two wires on the alternator
Alternator wire on the main fuse box.
Ground wire on the rear of the driver fuel rail.

After that, the wiring lifts right out....
