wanting to put E7 heads on a 1984 302. Valve clearence issues???

I have a stock 1984 302 out of a Grand marquee that runs fine, but I would like to increase the CR and improve airflow. I have a set of E7 heads that I was going to port and polish and then install. I was doing a little research and I read that 302s from 1984 used flat top pistons and that...

Putting a modern E-brake handle in a classic Mustan

One will work and the other might work. The 79-86 unit will work no problem, the 87-93 unit might work, if you can put a stiffer spring inside your drum brake set up. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask them.

Putting a modern E-brake handle in a classic Mustan

I don't think there is room for a bigger spring I have 4 wheel disc brakes and the rears are Mark VII, but utilized the stock drum Mustang return spring. That is how I know for a fact that the stock spring is not enough :) that was a trouble shooting nightmare. The springs I ended up using...

Looking for feedback on my new homemade Adjustable Strut Rods web page.

Thanks for the input. I chose that clevis because it was the biggest that would fit in 65 frame rails. The individual who pointed me in the direction of CRC built a similar but different set for his 70 Mustang. He had lots more room to work and was able to use a larger clevis. As far as the...

what are the performances differences between these two intakes?

Edelbrock performer 1984 GT aluminum 4-barrel intake I was told that the GT intake produces more low-end torque and will get better gas mileage. The motor getting one of the two intakes is stock and will probably never see any RPMs above 4500 http://www.dazecars.com
