My long block was like $3k, T56 was like $4-5k then with labor and all the misc. stuff you never plan on doing adds up very quickly. I spent more then $10g's on my drivetrain set up and now I have huge regrets for not getting new motor mounts $140 while the bay was open. Now I have a problem...- fawcett

anyone here driven/owned an rx-7?
Rotery engines are pretty cool and dead quiet. Too bad they need boost to make power. The RX8 revs to like 9grand, if I remember right a chime comes on somewhere above 8,000rpms to remind you to shift. The problem with the design is that over time the engine is prone to carbon build...- fawcett

You know Ben, I dont have any idea if the mount was broken when the trany was installed. I guess I'll never know but I like your thinking. Besides motor mounts are not going to rape my bank account. It looks like I have to get the mount fixed then probabally have the holes welded up for the...- fawcett

What would you pay?
$9k-though it looks so fast.... But the cage looks cool-too bad it would be a PITA for a daily driver. How would you get your girl in a skirt in there? Do I need this thing?
I agree that this piece is necessary but what about the air silencer we all have removed? It costs how much for Ford to make/install those things and everyone I know has removed it. Maybe the silencer is strictly to pass govt. emmisions hence it being worth the cost/labor? (Sorry to jack this...- fawcett

Grinding Noise From Rear End...
ok so i can get any 94-98 rear end and ill be fine? why does MPS list them seperatly? I ask only because ideally a 98 should (which i use loosly) have less miles than a 94. Less miles=Less wear Right?- fawcett

Big time rearend help!!
I blew up my rear end-well just the bearings I think. I had the pinion bearing replaced and after everything got put back together I still have a whinning noise. Its just about that time to put your stang away where I live so its a little less depressing. I'm going to get some friction...- fawcett

KEEP THE TRI-BARS! Alright I'm kidding get the bullits with the lip. They will look sick and you wont have any regrets. FYI, Polished aluminum is a major PITA so keep that in mind. Grinding Noise From Rear End...
Sorry to repeat... 96-98 axles are longer than 94-95's or 79-95's? For some reason I thought 94-98's or even 94-04's were all the same size. Please advise me, Thanks everyone- fawcett
