    Do you mean 'Daytime Running Lights' which are required on all vehicles coming into Canada, much like Europe requires? If it is, I would suggest you call/contact Ford of Canada and tell them you need a DRL module and harness. Might cost you $100 or so.

    Actually, production lines are shared between various models, including the Mazda 6. The other lines can easily be changed over as well. The number you have given is only a 'forecast'. Buy adding production lines and shifts, Ford could easily double that 'forecast' number. It's been done before...

    Hey, great info. I learned a couple of things. I might also add that the Jag engine is far more expensive than the 4.0 in the 6 cyl Stang. Putting the Jag engine in would boost the price of the V6 version beyond the V8 version. Why buy the V6 then?

    For ratios, check the specs on the Thunderbird tranny. As far as auto goes: 1. When available (which should be real soon) change valve body, higher ratio gears, torque converter and put in a rachet shifter, and tweak the computer for shift points. I'm going to say a 5 speed wouldn't touch...
