    thats right the twisted wedge heads are much taller then the stock heads and I needed a spacer for mine and I changed the manifold too so I know the stock manifold won't clear the TF heads with out either the 1in or the 3/8in spacer.

    Not sure where. We (dad-in-law and me) think it's top end but it seems to be under manifold in the middle..Could be the bottom too it's hard to disiguish! I we would say it was metal on metal.

    :nonono: Ok everytime I do something to this car it goes to $h!t!!! Ok I install the TFS1 Cam last night and now the engine KNOCKS really bad and it picks up with throttle. Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Any body know what the torque specs are on the Trick Flow Rocker arms for the Twisted Wedge Heads? I'm putting the Engine back together after installing the Cam!

    Did you guys use your original timing set or a new one? because I tried both and I either had no cam play or too much (0.001-0.007 is the limit of play you should have)!

    have to countersink the 2 screw hole for clearance so the instructions say. not really sure why, I was just wondering what everyone eles did with this CAM. I know that some people have the Trick Flow Stage 1 cam.

    I'm finally going to put in my TFS stage 1 Cam but the instructions that came with it (in the top end kit) said I needed to machine the retaining plate. is there anything eles I need to do?

    Hey guys and gals I know this question has been asked before but I was wondering I just got my 3:73 gears put in this week and I know I need to do something with the speedo being off (about 10MPH) is there any instructions on how to change the speedo gear on a manual tranny?

    Well it turns out that my fan was just getting a bad connection got it fixed and everything is good again as far as the cooling issue goes.

    I felt you pain on the time thing it took me about a month to get my H/C/I done and I'm still not all the way done. I still have to change my injectors to 24# and my MAF to go with it. And being that I was in a hurry I didn't get my Cam put in either. But to answer your question yes definatly...

    Dyno disappointment!!

    Yeah I'd pi$$ed off too! I'd definatly have a huge fit if they kept my car for a month and a half and not fixed anything. although I'm still having issues with my top end swap but at least my car is driveable right now. :D

My wife and best friend took my car to get my 3:73's put in and they told me that it was overheating bad! and the guy that was going to work on it said that the fan wasn't working. I heard of a recall that had something to do with the fan but not sure...

    lack of power

    OK got the MAF and the injectors from summit, say I return them and get 24#ERS and the MAF which ones would I get? Not excatly sure which ohms my car will put out to the new injectors. and yes funds is a serious issue now!!!!! The wife wants to ring my neck!!!
