Houston Rice "Its about as fast as a Mustang GT"

To be fair, it does say engine swap. What if he swapped in a v8? :rlaugh:

SCT X3 With BamaChips Tune In!

Definitely, did some more driving and love the extra hp and hard shifts, my only complaint thus far is the shifts when trying to drive normal. It will always go up to 3,500 rpms unless I really baby it, which is a bit ridiculous, but I'll learn to work around it.

    Got $1,500 to spend

This sort of makes sense, but one question: you're saying for the first round of mods, he should get cams, then the next round would be a blower. Wouldn't the N/A cam not work well with the blower, or were you suggesting a blower cam, which I imagine would make his car run worse than the stock...

SCT X3 With BamaChips Tune In!

Received my brand new SCT X3 with 3 custom BamaChips tunes today, packaging was great and the instructions were as easy as can be. First impressions? Nice :nice: 1998 Gt Auto with a few bolt ons and I definitely can feel a power increase, not only that, but the shifting is great now. When you...

XCal 2 Fuel Pump And Fan Fuses

Tried to remove them but then the car wouldn't turn on, guess I removed the wrong ones  Anyway, here's the fuse box diagram for a 1998 mustang gt if anyone needs it: 1998 mustang fuseblock layout - Ford Mustang Forums

Can anyone identify these seats.... have pics

Oh, I didn't know that was your car, my bad.

Can anyone identify these seats.... have pics

... because they have a full interior, it's not stripped, it doesn't have a rear seat delete, it doesn't look like a race car. It looks like a daily driver / weekend car with one non-matching sparco seat.

Can anyone identify these seats.... have pics

Haha where did you get that picture, did you take it at a car show? Who puts in ONE Sparco seat? :rlaugh:

    Going To The Track, Questions

So aside from the driveshaft loop, I'm good to go to the track as-is?

    Going To The Track, Questions

About as much power as one of those hondas :D It's a 98 GT Coupe Automatic with P.I. Intake Manifold, K&N Cone Filter, Mac O/R H-Pipe, Flowmaster Catback, 3.73's, and a BamaChips tune, so hopefully with a little bit of luck I can break into the 13's. I'll be bringing a helmet just in case.

    Going To The Track, Questions

I'm going to the track in August to finally see what the car can do. I was reading the track's requirements (New England Dragway in Epping, NH if anyone has been) and noticed they said: - Overflow can for radiator - Battery hold down bracket Doesn't the car have both of those stock? If...

    You auto guys.

I have an auto 98 GT with 3.73's, but I haven't bought a speedcal yet and my speedometer is way off (although I have referenced it with a gps), so I can't measure speed or MPG. What rpm (and speed, if you happen to know it or have a corrected speedo) are you doing in OD to get 25/26 mpg?
  17. S

    You auto guys.

Is that just because of the DOHC engine? I have 3.73's, and I can't see any way to get 25 mpg with 4.10s unless you're cruising everywhere at 50 mph.

My 2000 GT pics and its problems

Those rims and headlights just work on your car, it looks really good. If you lowered your car just a little bit, I think it would look ever better.

    Finally Lowered

Finally lowered the car, went with some cheap maxspeed lowering springs off of ebay for now. Installed them in a family owned garage with my dad and grandfather, and it took less than 2 hours. It's good to attempt mods with people who know what they are doing, so I was pretty happy about that...
