    Where to get fuel line clips?

    Hey guys, i have a question on something i can not find anywhere. You know the plastic clips that hold the fuel line to the fuel filter? I managed to break some in the process of changing it, and cant find them, where can you get them at? Thanks in advance! Anthony

    Car WILL NOT START

    When you say you have no fuel pressure while cranking, does the fuel pump prime if you just turn the key to "on"? Sounds like its not getting fuel to the injectors on start up. Could be a clogged fuel filter. Check that first! Anthony

    blownLX5oh - I got mine from summit racing, i beleive they were about $480+shipping, really expensive. Just make sure when you install them that you face the high side of the lifter towards the center of the lifter valley. Anthony

    I just had the same problem. I had to cut about 1/8-1/4" off my distributor. I had to do this on my ARP and my FMS hardened shafts. It wont hurt the distributor or the oil pump shaft by doing this. The are hex end and then have round "raised" part after the hex end and wont let the dizzy seat...

    The pressure from the pushrods/rockers holds them in place. They have vertical link bars that keep them from twisting on the bores. I used the Crane lifters in mine, they work great! Anthony

    Which block?

    The dart sportsman block has 2 bolt mains on the front and back mains, and 4 bolt on the center 3. They are plenty strong to handle 5-600hp, i am running one on my car.

    351w oil pump drive shaft? witch too get?

    The ARP shaft is a great piece, it may need to be trimmed a little to fit correctly. I ran an ARP shaft and they are super strong, due to some misfortunes i had to replace it and went with the FMS shaft, i had to trim the bottom of the distributor a little to make it fit, but they are both great!

    Distributor wont come out, new motor, help!!

    I think someone just told me what the problem was on another board. I never cut the shaft to length. It pushed on the housing after i bolted the pump and distributor down and wouldnt allow proper lubrication. Oh well, live and learn i guess! Anthony

    I have never heard of this either, and most are stumped. I talked to a tech at comp cams and they think that most of the problem stems from the cam not having a thrust plate and extensive endplay on the cam. I am kinda thinking that the screeching sound was from the bearings on the distributor...

    The car has been off for close to 2 hours now and the distributor is still too hot to touch, is this normal? The coolant temp never got over 180. I am lost.
