    1st clutch install, question?

    I asked several places what lube to use and mentioned the long life ford lube referenced. Everyone said to go with wheel bearing grease, so I went with a synthetic lube. So little i even used, that I'm sure it will work fine.

    The upper and lower will bolt up with the use of an elbow. The injectors and fuel rail won't work.

    I went to advance auto and picked up a couple grade 5 bolts off the shelf and placed washers underneath the bolt heads. Forgot the size, but it was standard.

    Intake Choices

    I'm isntallaing the explorer intake. Gasket set is less tha $25. The elbows can be bought used for less than $50. In fact, I ended up with two elbows, so one of them will be for sell soon.

    HP on a budget

    The stock intake is amazingly restrictive, just replacing it with an explorer intake will add 20 ponies. The stock STB will not fit with a different intake, so it needs to be removed or replaced with one that will fit.

    o2 extensions for LTs

    I'm extending mine with soldier and heat shrink tubing. The passenger side may not even require extending. 50resto sells the 94-04 o2 extension wires for about $40 shipped.

    Stock Intake

    From the dyno runs I've seen, the stock 94-94 intake gives up 20 hp over the stock pre-94 EFI intake.     Are all 94/95's this slow? Help Plz!

    Replace the intake. The 94-95's have a Tbird intake wihich saps about 20hp. I use the TwEECer to tune the AODE shiftness and timing. It made a noticable improvement in performance.
