    Aluminum ones are lighter. They will have less rotational mass than the heavier steel ones, which can only help with underdriving the accessories. I'd say aluminum if you have the extra 30 or 40 bucks

    just make one out of lightweight plywood... another thing to drop weight is all the insulation that is glued to the floor in the back, if you don't mind the extra noise

    I've seen people run their battery cables under the car thru their subframes then up through a plug hole in the rear... I need to get my subs on soon...haha

    Those of you who deleted your rear seat (and drive a hatchback)... How did you do it? I was planning on just making a wood box to cover the exposed area of tha floor... I was wondering if anyone else has done it like that and if they had dimensions or something to help? I'm not tha best with...

    6250 is fuel cut-off, so it only will fire 7 cylinders... so it acts like a rpm limiter

    I did this with the windows still on my car... started with about 120grit and got to 400... not smooth enough at all, but like jrichker said... alot better than i started with

    My belts don't retract either when the door is closed... but if I open it quick, it reels right back in... when you see a guy driving down the highway doing 75 and he opens his door, you'll know it's me......ha

    Nah, keep them on now... I'm sure you will plan on adding more mods later to build power... you will really appreciate it later on down the road, give yourself time to grow :nice:
