    Finishing up Battery relocation, Is the starter solenoid on the starter?

    I am finishing up my battery relocation and just want to confirm if the starter solenoid is located right on the starter itself. Is this correct? Also, when the relocation is complete, Can I remove any of the old wiring stuff to and from the alternator or starter? Or does everything else...

    I will weigh everything for sure. i'm thinking -30lbs off the front with the battery in the rear, -50 with the skinnies, and -60 or so with the k member and other goodies. Thats like 140lbs off the front. I ought to be able to lift a tire or two. :banana:

    Brake System Question

    The cobras do have a different master cylinder but the GT's MC will work fine with upgraded brakes. MANY of us have 13" brakes without upgrading.

    I have used U/D pullies on 2 different stangs and never had a negative side effect. They do work and will give you hp. Charging and cooling were not affected in any way. I have read where others have had issues though. Are they Aluminium U/D pullies?
