    i have a 98 cobra as well, just about covered 75,000 miles and only recently had the exact same problem. to stop the engine light i just checked the 02 sensors and replaced the bank 2 sensor. no more engine light and the idle is miles better. maybe worth checking your 02 sensors. :)

    hi folks. every so often i get the check engine light on the cobra. its usually when im sat at a set of lights but its throwing up codes 0174 and 0411. they dont cmoe up at the same time but they appear at random. is there anything that relates to these codes?

    that reminds me, i changed the plugs the other week to a set of champion ones that came with it, but i didnt gap the plugs at all... what am i supposed to gap them to? and are champion plugs any good? since i fitted them i noticed the car stalls occasionally, which it never did before...
