    kinda upsetting to watch but then again, that cobra never once even hicuped or faultered, even when he beat the hell outa it. Real funny when he redlined it going through the gears and stopping in traffic to do a burn out...any chance that was real and not staged lol?

    Ya I agree, I have driven some pretty basic trans ams and man they were fast and could hang with an ss or firehawk, hmmm which brings me to another question, is the firehawk the baddest of all the ls1 fbodys???

    the centri's are not a problem at all, just put some dam gears in your car :) plus it is less strain on your motor, since it does not make boost right away. too each his own though, but I would wait on that new kb, they are still working the kinks out of it

    First off, a stock 99/01 does the 1/4 at about 13.8 at just over a 100mph. Second off, a bare bones stock ss is no faster then a z28. Also the bad ass lookin ram air on the ss actually did not help performance at all...look at all the bends before the air even hits the intake! Yes it is true...

    That ticking noise you hear is not the tranny, it is your trow out bearing. It will only make the noise with your foot off the clutch but not while it is pushed down. Mine does that too, not a big, big deal but should be fixed if you can
