    Horrible gas mileage after O/R X pipe

    Thats weird. I still get really great mileage with my o/r pipe. It still smells behind the car when I get on it, but I think that it is just from the lack of cats.

    mac off road h-pipe 99-03

    I have the Mac O/R H-pipe with 40 series flows. I love the sound. But Macs quality is questionable. My pipe had to be heated and bent in order to seal corectly on the driverside were it bolts to the manifold. It still has a really slight leak. But you cant feel it. Great sound and price...

    You could always get both. I think some people run 17's on the front and 18's on the back.. Im not sure why. Actually some of the new Vettes come like that.

    Differentian cover has slight leak.

    Differential cover has slight leak. I noticed today when I was under my car that my Diff. cover is seeping a little pit of oil from the bottom. I think it is do to me putting the floor jack under the diff to jack up the rear end. Maybe the cup of the jack caught the edge of the cover one...

    285/40/17

    Well thats not too much different. I got my #'s from tirerack.com. Either way...there is not much difference in overall diameter. Now Im just worried that my wheel is too narrow. Its only 9" and It seems that the min. rim width is 9.5". I hope this doesnt matter too much.

    What type of problems will I have with having a 9" wide rim with 285's. I hope these tires work out OK. I should have done more research before I got them. The deal was really good though.

    I think i may have answered my own question. according to tirerack.com the stock Diameter is 25.7" that is the same as 275/40/17. The 285's are 26.1". I dont think that .4" will make a significant difference....am I correct?
