    I know and its frustrating as heck. Yes, its an automatic and I think its got a trans issue. It surges when it does the 2-3 shift like its slipping and I've got convertor shudder. I have no idea whats causing the slipping or how much its gonna cost to fix. Any ideas?

    Actually its the AODE no the T-5. It should still work though.

    Yes, I'm sure they were 4.10's. The pinion gear is way smaller than the 2.73's. They are made by motive.

    OK, heres the whole story. I went from 2.73's to 4.10's. Because of the 8 tooth drive gear I needed a 27 tooth speedo gear to make the speed correction. Obviously no one makes a 27 tooth gear, FMS only makes a 21 tooth thats used for 3.55's on up. Mopar happens to makes a 23 tooth which is as...

    Will a new convertor make that much difference? I tried to remove the weight in the front but couldn't find the top mounting bolts. I'll have to try again.
