    What Brand Are These Wheels?

Indeed.....but if some of the proud US based companies of the people's republic of America would build OEM parts longer than 5-years and sell them at reasonable price when they did and provide a definitively superior product, consumers would be less likely to shop overseas. I'd love to have...

    Outnumbered By Idiots

Play coy if you wish, but your over sensitive, upity demeanour and attempts to insult me on a personal level with each reply speak volumes about how deeply this debate has gotten under your skin.

    Outnumbered By Idiots

You carb guys get soooo upset when you feel the rest of the automotive community doesn't properly embrace and worships your ancient artifact. It entertains me, greatly. :)

    Help

idling/running a bit rough isn't a spark plug gap issue. That's already on the wide side for a power adder car. Most are gaped between .028-.032. That being said, shrinking the gap further still isn't going to smooth things out. The only reason you would have to shrink the gap even more...

    Outnumbered By Idiots

Actually, my comment was more directed towards the entire build being uses as an example, not so much just the glorified fuel leak bolted to the manifold. Purpose built race cars are "NOT" the example carb nug huggers use when they compare the two. He may only have $1,500 wrapped up into the...

1st Mustang - New York City

Very nice. I think once I've got the Fox body stain off of my soul, my next pony is going to be a '13-up GT. I'm starting to miss those creature comforts. :D

See, now the problem with that carb set up is that its neither simplistic, nor cheap......which is always the primary argument for running a carb from guys who scoff at EFI in the first place.

    Cruise Control Cable???

So, a little update. I didn't get around to pulling the cruise control this weekend. Life kinda got in the way. I did adjust the cable some more, which made it slightly better and now confirms the cable hasn't broke. I'm now of rhe opinion that the diaphragm is cracked, or leaking somehow...

    Engine New Block

Nothing to check out. An intake built for a 302, will not swap out to a 351W. It physically isn't possible. While the upper may be interchangeable between the two, the lower intake on a 351W is approx 1-1/2" wider by comparison.

    Canadian Madmike?

Actually, it was "Keep your stick on the ice. And remember, if women don't find you handsome, then should at least find you handy." I remember watching Steve Smith as part of the comedy group with his wife, "Smith and Smith" in the early 80's.

Engine Thinking About 351, Need Some Help

Just keep in mind, if you "basic rebuild" consists of anything more than re-ringing the stock pistons and adding a new set of bearings, you should consider a stroker assembly. If you've got to add pistons to your rebuild, you're going to find yourself about $600 in for just the slugs right off...

Engine Thinking About 351, Need Some Help

Those heads, intake, carb and exhaust either won't either physically fit, or support the needs of a stock 351W....never mind a big cube stroker. Lets also consider, that Weiand 174 will be on the ragged edge of efficiency trying to keep up with the air demands of a stock 351W and his current...

Engine Thinking About 351, Need Some Help

I'd stick with a 302 personally. The E-Street heads were designed for the budget conscious, that want to move into an aluminum casting. Decent, but not really high on the performance scale compared to a lot of the heads out there. You didn't mention the size of the headers, but I'll assume...

    Cruise Control Cable???

So, it's no surprise to me that these things are out of production, but does anyone make a reproduction cable? I've been chasing a cruise control demon for a couple of years now. The car seems to surge badly on the highway when engaged. I originally chalked it up to my "far from stock"...

    New To The Muscle Family!?

Yeah, the earlier New Edge Cobra hoods will fit the GT's. I actually think they started putting them on the V6 cars near the end of the New Edge production?

    New To The Muscle Family!?

Do you mean a Cobra R hood? There was no Cobra built in North America in 2000. In any case.... View: https://youtu.be/v4NHQ8pcR3g

    Will It Fit?

No difference between the 87-93 hubs. I only mentioned the need to swap to SN95 hubs and spindles because you stated in your original post that you had "'03 Cobra rims", which are a 5-lug wheel, designed for SN95 hubs...not '03 Cobra "replica" wheels in a 4-lug Fox design.

    New To The Muscle Family!?

On its own, no. .....but if you combine it with one of these kits it can. http://www.torktech.com/termi-gt-kits.html
