    Gauges & Gauge Pod

Whitedevil, How do you keep that gauge on the left on "F" like that. Ever since my motor swap, you have to be quick to catch it on "F". I got it! You were sitting at the gas station weren't you, :D Greg

    New dyno numbers

He's going to port the intake first, and then I'll see how it is. I am sure you are right though, since the cam is similar to the B-cam.

    the ALL NEW name thread

Gregory Alan Smith, but don't let the name fool you. The heritage is a complete melting pot...German, Swiss, Irish, Scottish, English, French, Dutch, Cherokee, and Melungeon. No Hispanic, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, or Far Eastern, although Italy is probably my favorite country outside of...

    My Two Verts

I've looked for mods to the Bimmer, but the only things I have been able to find were K&N filters and Brembo Brakes. Not a lot to choose from.

    New dyno numbers

Grady, I really do appreciate your levity when dealing with the "engine ignorant" people like myself. Some of your posts in response to my threads have helped me to narrow down the questions that I keep taking back to Jason, and has made him second-think some of the things he has done to the...

Do our fuel pumps have a constant whine?

Mine does...sounds like a jet engine running.

Engine options and what to get?

My 347 only costed $7500. You can buy a crate engine online too for $6999 that is supposed to be 500HP. I just can't remember which web site I went to.

Anybody bought wheels from these guys?

I've seen him offer a lot of great deals. And that "buy it now" price is awesome.

    New dyno numbers

Well, after screwing around all day at the dyno, I got 1 more HP out of it, and 7 more ft./lbs. torque. It still wants to peak on HP at about 5300 though. The builder seems to think that is was the lower intake manifold that he used. He's not happy with it either, so that's a good thing. He...

    MPH cutoff? NOPE! [Pic]

Check out the web sites, Bill. Look for formulas for gear ratios and wheel sizes. It's really not anymore than basic math.

    Computer guru's... need help

Try browsing the drive first, and make sure you aren't trying to browse a dvd on a cd drive. If you've done that see if you can see any other CD's with that drive. If you can't the CD drive is dead. If you can then you have a bad CD.

    My Two Verts

I got mine for 26 with 21K on the odometer. It was a leaser so I knew it had been maintenanced, and the wife fell in love with it as soon as she drove it. Let me tell ya it ain't no joke either, at 100 MPH I was only at 3 grand. But I still love my pony!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    MPH cutoff? NOPE! [Pic]

Or the stuff is sitting on a shelf and just made for a good pic. Let's see...Stock Tranny and Motor, .68 5th gear and 4.10's in the rear. With 16" tires, 4.10 gears and .68 tranny gear ratio, you would need 9496 RPM to achieve it. With 17" tires, 4.10 gears and .68 tranny gears, you would...

    My Two Verts

The bimmer is definitely the wife's car, but you wouldn't believe the HP/torque that thing still has at 70 MPH. Yeah bimmertech, it is a fun car, but this one is only the 2.5i. I would be very curious to see what the 3.0 runs like. However, for my manly side I need the beef of the 347...

Does anyone make a stainless Shorty X-pipe?

I love my Long Tubes and X-pipe. Both are BBK.

    My Two Verts

Just because I was bored. I finally had a good day to clean them both up. I'm sure Bimmertech can appreciate this... Greg

Okay, got the car back now...

Well, I don't know that I am that worried about either of these problems since I scared a Cobra today, but one thing I am noticing is that the idle will fall to 1000 as soon as the car comes to a complete stop. May still be the shift retard that others have mentioned. As far as the hissing...
