Just because I was bored. I finally had a good day to clean them both up. I'm sure Bimmertech can appreciate this...

The bimmer is definitely the wife's car, but you wouldn't believe the HP/torque that thing still has at 70 MPH. Yeah bimmertech, it is a fun car, but this one is only the 2.5i. I would be very curious to see what the 3.0 runs like. However, for my manly side I need the beef of the 347, LOLLOL. And, Black Stampede, gimme some time....I just started on this thing. Wanted to get the internals sweet before I worried about cosmetics. After my ride last night, I definitely need bigger wheels. :) Didn't realize second and third gear would do that........

Greg

the older 3.0 6spds run very hard--low 14's

the newer 3.0's are supposed to be faster, but just don't feel that fast to me.

the M roadster/coupe are just flat out animals. maybe we'll get lucky and they'll put the turbo motor in the 3.0's and the new V8 in the M cars.

I got mine for 26 with 21K on the odometer. It was a leaser so I knew it had been maintenanced, and the wife fell in love with it as soon as she drove it. Let me tell ya it ain't no joke either, at 100 MPH I was only at 3 grand. But I still love my pony!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty impressed that you have a sweet 347 and yet still sport waffles and the 4x4 look.:nice:

Hahhahha
:rlaugh:

the zings... so priceless.

But yes, nice stang, but nicer bummer... I love the z4s... I just wish they came in more/better colour combinations.

For a luxury sex car... there's a definite lack in 'white' with their colour combintations

Lookin' good!

A few "minor mods" (see below) can get that thing screaming ......

Yep. My 5 series is as smooth as glass all throughout the RPM range with good low-mid range punch. 6 speed auto with shift option and is your center console climate controller like mine lol?

Z4's do not have I-drive, and i doubt that a 2.5 Z4 has auto climate.

that LS1 is in a Z3, which is an E36 chassis. swap kits are available for E36's now. not only do you get LS1 powa, but they weigh less than a iron block I6 and the weight is further back--hence better weight distribution. its like a win win win situation.

if you want smooth as glass with extraordinary power range go test drive a 760LI. the new V12 is just down right nutty.

as for mods on a 2.5 Z4, the only one i would do is a turbo from active autowerkes.
