    You still have overdrive with a non lockup converter. Although with a non lock there will never be a 1:1 ratio, which means you will turn higher RPM's than a lockup converter because its always slipping. If you want the absolute best times at the track and dont care too much about highway...

    Overheating 347, any help appreciated

    I had a black magic fan on my car for a while. If you beat on it or it got heat soaked, it would run very hot. I switched to a taurus fan, now it never gets even close to where it used to be. Just a thought. Good luck.

    I dont think they make a white set. I also have a vert with a white top and wheels to match. I had mine professionally painted. You'll have to get the painted or powdercoated.

    Do you have a higher stall converter in the AOD, or is it stock? A nitrous kit would be easier to tune/install and the initial cost would be less than a supercharger. Even if you spray a small shot on it, you should be deep in the 11's.

    I agree on the GTP. I saw one for sale in this weeks auto trader for $2700. Another option would be an AWD turbocharged eclipse/talon. They would be good on gas and great in the snow. Keep it lightly modified so it wont break.

    If you want the "best" set of wires, get some LIVEWIRES from www.performancedistributors.com. I have them on my car and they are awesome! I dont think ill ever need another set of plug wires. They are expensive though.

    I also run the Fcam. Im currently using an Edge 3200 stall with 3:55 rear gears. I also have run an Art Carr 3800 with 4:10 gears but i ran out of MPH at the track. The Fcam seems to love high rpm's and power adders though! :)

    I agree about the 1-D-1 shuffle. Ive been doing it forever and nothing bad has come from it, yet. Everyone says not to, but there is no explanation or proof that will ruin your trans.

    What is the average age on stangnet 5.0 talk?

    Im 18, and have had the fox since i was 16. Ive been into fast cars/mustangs ever since i could talk. I bought my first car when i was 14 and it was a 1985 buick grand national. Sold that for the stang :nice:
