    AAH, gotcha. Thanks, it was actually for my truck, '03 Heritage Edition F150 4.6, a salt belt neglect victim. Got JBA shortys and found 2 cracks in pass side manifold in the prossess of the swap. Nice thing is what I thought might have been the dreaded piston slop, was just the manifold...

    ??? Why the pic of the long tubes? Got the offending stud out, wasn't JB'd, just alot of corrosion @ surface of head. Ended up drilling out the center of the stud till I could get ahold of it and get it to thread out. Project complete, all is good.

    Well, I measured it last night, and I have 53 1/8" outside to outside of the flanges at the height of the latch pin....thanks again bacfire, that helps me get a little better idea of where I need to end up.

    From the spot welded lip/flange that is just to the inside the actual latch pin, the distance between it on both side. When you have the interior in, it is probably covered by a gasket. Basically, I think the area where the rear quarter window fits into is shoved in 1/2" at the top...
