95 Cobra Weld Draglite Front RIm size?

It can be done. There are cobras running 15 x 3.5 draglites and prostars. You need a 1" hubcentric spacer (Eibach or H&R) that has lugs built into it. I just bought the 1 3/16" H&R spacers for the front to clear my cobra brakes. I chose the 1 3/16" because I got them cheap used. I just...

Power Question? TFS TW's, TS Street heat, TFS Stage 1

Nope, I converted it to a fox body throttle body. I'll change my sig to make it more clear. :spot:

Power Question? TFS TW's, TS Street heat, TFS Stage 1

You will not be disappointed with the TW heads. They are great NA and will shine with boost. My times in sig are with the same combo you are heading to. (minus the blower) I am sure there is more et & mph left in it because I just started racing (2.5 months now) and still have a lot to learn...

Calling ALL Mustang GT Convertible Owners!

I am soooo tempted to swipe the CCard and get a whole new front suspension. The only thing stopping me is the wrath of the woman when she sees I spent more $ on my car. I would be in debt if it wasn't for her, but my car would be faster. :D

Calling ALL Mustang GT Convertible Owners!

This is true. I have the coupe prokit springs on my vert and have no problems. It gave me the advertised 1 1/2" drop. The Sportlines will drop it about 2". But, as mentioned above, it will take a week or so for the springs to settle completely.

Any of you NY or NJ guys wanna go to E town tomorrow night?

I was thinking about driving out to E town tonight but I'm meeting up with someone at Island dragway to sell my stock wheels. That is unless it rains then I'll just sit here.

Rear differential and axles setup, comments please!

Has anyone heard anything bad about the Moser axles? Besides sometimes being too long to fit.

Rear differential and axles setup, comments please!

I am glad you brought up these points. I have been doing alot of research on the f-150 t-loc and have been asking around about it. I found a hookup that can get me new f-150 dif 31 spline for very close to $200. If this goes though, thats what I'll get. Then have an extra clutches built in...

Rear differential and axles setup, comments please!

I won't be doing the install myself. A guy I know gave me a price I couldn't refuse. He runs his stang in "Hot Street" class. He said to get the dif and axles and the rest of the parts could be bought locally.

Rear differential and axles setup, comments please!

I am going with the BB&T package #2 like others I see here. I'm going with the Auburn 31 spline Differential, moser axles and lugs. I know the Eaton is rebuildable but I think I'll try the Auburn exchange program. Send them the old beat dif + $100 and recieve a 100% new differential. The...

New Track times. Good ending point for the year.

That is Very impressive. It should keep a smile on your face until spring. It's funny because I was getting worried with stock tranny at the track and here you are running 10's. Granny shifting keeps that thing together. What cage/ roll bar are you getting?

12 second pass finally, improved my times by .57 seconds

I got the Aluminium 4" tubing and 45 degree elbow from airflowonline. The tube comes looking rough so I sanded and polished it up real nice.

12 second pass finally, improved my times by .57 seconds

Thanks! 12.xx is a long way from the 15.xx stock times, especially that unruly 12.31 of yours. Dave from Kauffmans kicks azz. I went there with the intention of getting a custom chip for some extra go. After the first dyno run he looked at the A/F, he told me a chip wouldn't help and I...

12 second pass finally, improved my times by .57 seconds

yes, I changed it over when I seen a deal on the 75mm Accufab that I couldn't pass up. I port matched the Eddie upper for a nice transition. I'm happy with it. The track was Island Dragway- Great Meadows, NJ. Island Website (edit-currently upgraded) Seems like a good place to...

12 second pass finally, improved my times by .57 seconds

Thanks! Today was the first time I ever had traction. After I felt the first decent launch, I was worried I was going to screw up the run by missing a shift or something (like what typically happends). The trap was 104.7 mph on that run. My best mph to date was 105.1

12 second pass finally, improved my times by .57 seconds

recap: I have been trying to get some decent 60ft and 1/4 mile times all year. The best I was able to get was 13.43 1/4 mile with 60 fts times over 2.0 seconds, until today. I had three runs total today with excellent COLD weather. First run: 13.32 @ 101.66 mph with a 1.98 60ft time...

    92mph fuel flood?

When I was at Kauffman Motorsports last month I brought this topic up. They looked it up on their computer and it said the 94-95 gt computers begin to dump fuel at precisely 127 miles per hour. I believe they are correct or at least very close to it.
