    I wouldn't leave it like that. If you need the eccentric you'll have to grind the dowel pin a little shorter.

    With regard to the shimming, I didn't use any special tools. When you roll the spider gears in you can tell if you need more shim. Too much shim and the spiders won't roll in. When I did the +1 mod my setup was very tight. I got a lot of clunking on low speed, tight turns.

    When I did my gears I also rebuilt the trac-lok, but I went with the +1 method meaning I added an additional friction plate on each side. The limited slip locks up pretty hard this way and let me tell you it can be quite humbling on wet roads. Easy on the gas through corners is the only way!

    What's involved in pulling off the door panel on an sn95? I don't see any clips or anything aside from one lone plug sort of clip at the lower front of the panel. I can run the glass down without much of a problem, but when I bring it back up it hangs up before fully closing.

    Although my clutch seems to have plenty of life left on it, the release bearing is starting to whine. Its really noticeable in colder weather. With over 129K miles on the clock I guess its due for replacement.

    When I did my h/c/i I bought a set of Australian made 1.72 roller rockers. They're bolt down rockers, but each pair is mounted on a little shaft. They're pretty nice, but not worth the dough in most cases. For my application they worked out well.
