    Cam install

not a stupid question by anymeans. What I'm wondering is what you are talking about with torington bearings. Unless you are talking about a 4.6 motor...never touched one of those. on a 5.0, or any small block ford. But basically you slide the cam in, very carefully so you don't gouge...

Parents got me wheels for my b-day...4x4.5" will they fit??? HELP!!!

The old mustangs, 64-70ish 6cyl cars had a 4x4.5 bolt pattern and I don't think the newer pattern fits.

Swapping to 9" Truck rearend. questions and howtos.

cutting the axle tubes down about 4 inches on each side, shorter axles, fabricated control arm mounts, fabricated shock mounts. You could build 2 bullet proof 8.8's before you got up to the 9inch in price.

    stripped bolt remover?? any good??

Me too. Great product, and I have to add that they are very durable. I had a tranny mount bolt that wouldn't come out. I broke 3 sockets on it. 1 craftsman, 1 Kobalt, and one el cheapo impact socket. After all of these broke, the bolt was pretty much completely rounded off. Bought this...

Thanks for the useful info. :nice: Was that for the 87 cam, 88 cam or 88 cam with a typo? I figured you had one of the early 87 "race" cams!! I'm curious if the 86 cams are of the healthier grind than the later cams. Thanks again Steve

    T-5 swap ?'s for a 65 mustang!!!

You have to get another tranny crossmember, do something for the clutch mechinism. I made my crossmember and adapted a newer style quadrant and cable setup. There are a ton of companies selling these conversions. Are you keeping the 87 motor F.I. or going to carb?

    Five-lug conversion for '65 I6?

Get a rear end and front suspension (spindles out) from a 74-77 maverick or comet 75-80 granada, 77-79 Lincoln versailles. These cars use the same type of suspension and all the stuf bolts on. Up front, you will have to change the steering linkage to one from a V8 stang, other than that, it...
