Unfortunately I don't think I am going to gain much from your experience. There is not one single part number that I am aware of that is interchangeable between a T-56 and a TR6060 (Magnum T56}. Hanlon included a reverse lockout electrical control device.
I actually installed the clutch 2 years ago. There's nothing to it. You just have to stack 5 pancakes instead of 3 pancakes; and torque it down to factory specs. It's honestly about 1 vagina hair harder to install than a factory clutch.

2.66:1 first gear ratio. Hanlon convinced me flat out that it was the best option for a car that makes as much torque as mine does. Telling me you have put a Magnum T56 in 3 different cars is basically a death warrant for your PM box. I obcess about the details, and you might end up with too...
Hey Stangnet,
I haven't been on here much lately, but I am hoping to do another install thread soon so that more people can have better information on aftermarket parts combatibility. As always, the internet was devoid of information when I was doing this purchase, because people don't have a...
You had a BBK cold air intake with which MAF? I've had the same 70mm BBK/Edelbrock throttle body on my car for 23 years now and it works absolutely fine. I've never had to fix anything on it. Your results might be atypical, and this is not the place to air your grievance.
Kurt
Stay away from the Professional Products. The BBK is fine. Accufab is a lot more money, and unneccesary. I've never seen any problems with an oversize throttle body like 75mm. The toughest part is getting the inlet hose on that big throttle body.

Correct, always change the pigtail if it is melted, damaged or corroded. Always answer the question to finality even if the OP doesn't return, because it will help other people searching for a troubleshoot later down the road.

Damn, this actually makes me look good. I reset my tripometer 16 months ago when I changed the clutch to measure the break in miles. I am at like 435 now. I actually drive the car several times a week, problem is, I don't go anywhere aside from work that is more than about 4 miles from my...
Wow, now we have someone chiming in with their entire 351 build thread. Like we are supposed to go with the absolute most cost/benefit rational engine choice every time now. This actually kind of bothers me. This isn't a business, we aren't rationalizing these choices on Microsoft Excel; it's...
I assume you are talking about the cycle switch on the accumulator/drier that controls compressor function. Try bypassing the pigtail with a paper clip and see if it blows.

The point of a big block isn't so much the physical displacement, but the physical size of the engine. A physically larger cylinder head has a lot more room for larger ports that can flow more air. There is a reason the big block Chevy engine still completely dominates drag racing.

I ordered brake pads from Hawk before Christmas. I think they just got around to finding some underage labor in Africa to mine the ceramic. I have no anticipation of seeing them soon.

Felpro 9333 head gaskets are absolutely fine. Both the ARP bolts and studs are fine. I prefer the studs because you can torque them to a scientific certainty. You screw the stud into the block with teflon sealer until it bottoms out. Then the nut is torqued to perfection with ARP moly lube so...
