    Get a test light out and check for with the lights on, and not with the lights off? Make sure you dont hook into your courtesy lights either..

    mexicano block!!

    Vans and trucks are your best bet for a mexican block. Best way to tell is the mexican "bump" it is on the front and looks like somewhere an acc brakcet would bolt up, but theres no threads. Once you see it it will obvious, but I dont want to go take pictures.

    As long as everything clears run it. You wont lose a ujoint I gaurantee it. I run about 18 on my truck and havent lost one yet.

    2300 dolllars?!?!? Underdriving it will make a bigger difference anyways, why are you worried about getting the stock brackets? Theyre just for show and in my opinion there pretty lame. Money would be spent better elsewhere.

    Ummm no. 429/460 is kind of like a 289 and a 302. Parts interchangeability is similar and what not. The 460 has a 3.85 inch stroke and the 429 has about three tenths less (cant remember) so theoretically you can spin a 429 a bit more than a 460. Its all in what your looking to do I guess. 460s...

    4-V is 4 barrel. I am not sure on all the GT packages and stuff, so maybe someone else could say. GT390 is a great motor, I have one in my 4x4. I tyhink it might just be like a GT trim package?

    blown 302 overheating

    Whats your thermostat? If any? 180 usually works, but going to a lower thermostat doesnt necesarily mean it will run cooler.. An aluminum radiator isnt really the cure all fix for it, because regular ones work fine when everything is setup correctly...
